Clip du jour: 'Twilight' the Puppet Saga

Categories: Clip du Jour, Twilight

Attention Twilight lovers and haters alike: here’s something you can all get on board with — Twilight the Puppet Saga. It’s the entire movie in three minutes, as performed by puppets. Lovers, laugh at its eerie accuracy and insane attention to detail. Haters, satisfy that eensy bit of curiosity you know you have about the whole phenomenon without having to attend an early-morning showing incognito (and shell out 12 bucks).

    That was AWESOME!
Twilight is sooooooo lame and it captured that so perfectly.

  • Frances

HILARIOUS!! I had to try and hide my giggles at my desk. That just made my day. :o )

  • Jennifer

omg that was wicked funny, I loved it…
and the part where puppet Bella says ‘things like this just don’t exist’ and puppet Edward says ’sure they do, didn’t you read the book’ omg that was the best :P

  • Julie

The hair flip & Team Jacob at the end were my favorite parts. funny!

  • Katie

    That WAS pretty funny.
Seriously though, way to cop out on the haters angle. So if someone hates it, it’s not because they genuinely dislike it, but because they’re stubborn and just “curious”? Please.
    Funny video though, very good.

  • Ciara

hat was sooo funny and really good. It was almost all my fav parts in the movie. WEll hope you make more.

  • Kelly

    Can’t. Breathe. Laughing. Too. Hard.
If i had been drinking something I would have shot it out of my nose!

Eh. The Harry Potter puppet pals are a lot funnier.

  • Jannie

Awesome video! The James puppet really looks like the actor Cam in the movies.

  • Celina

that was by far the funniest thing I have seen in a long time. I LOVE the movie and books but it is so sad that you can tell the story in 3 minutes and know the whole plot lol.

  • BellaFanatic

The most hilarious thing I have seen in a long time. All his dreaminous!!! LOL!!!!

What was with the random cut to the puppet movie poster during the meadow scene?

  • Bertie

Funny! That and “Jane Austen’s Batman” make a nice pairing, IMHO…

  • Rhonda

I think the “sparkle” effect in this video was better than the one in the movie. Maybe Summit should hire Team Puppet Pals for New Moon.

I want my 10 bucks back, I should have just watched that instead

  • Marisa

That one was good but I actually laughed out loud at this Twilight spoof:

  • Kate

    that was halarious!

  • Erica

Dare I say that the puppets are WAY better actors than the human ones??

  • Ariel

More like Lex Luther, but with better hair? EPIC. Haha! This was great.
And agreed, the sparkling puppet was much better than sparkling Rob.

  • Team EJ

Yes, indeed it was amusing, but not hilarious. However, did anyone notice how the people who created it can’t even spell ‘dedicated’ right at the end. It is not ‘dedicted.’ Sorry.

  • Elise

. . . that.. wasnt funny.. at all..
    just kinda.. wrong..
    . . .
    . . .

  • shannon

  • shannon

  • Scott

LOL, see, I actually would be considered a “hater”, I guess. But I actually started reading it and wanted to chuck it out the window. I am by no means “curious”…

  • Bella (NOT from twilight)

I had the name Bella WAY before this book ever existed…did anyone catch the almost subliminal message at the 1:33 mark?

  • Anonymous

Yes, the puppets were much better actors then the kids in the movie. Seriously, what was wrong with them?

  • Christie

They captured how pathetic and laughably bad Twilight was. Bravo!

  • LH

    that was fantastic!
