Hey, I’m glad you guys found this site. I found it few months ago and I just love reliving the theaters of my youth. I hope that people discovering this site will add their favorite old movie houses to the list!

Mandi, thanks for letting us know about this site. I’ve already been in updated some information on an old classic still in use.
Shame to read so many with closed/demolished against their names, although I know much of it will be about economics and progress, there was some fabulous architecture in cinemas and now much of that has been lost.
My appreciation goes out to also those who work tirelessly to keep older cinemas working, viable, and still retain their olde worlde charm (but with softer seats!!).
