After 39 days (and seemingly as many tribe shake-ups and fake hidden immunity idols), we have a winner of Survivor: Gabon. And that winner is…(SPOILER ALERT! DO NOT GO TO THE JUMP IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW!)
Bob Crowley. The 58-year-old phsyics teacher beat Susie and Sugar inthe final 3 to take home the million dollars. Did the right person win?And, more importantly, who among the jury asked the most tastelessquestion? (My money is on Corinne—twice!) The full Survivor: Gabon TV Watch will be on the way soon. Corrine is a disgusting piece of filth. What a …..ok there are no words that aren’t swear words! She deserves to have a very unhappy life.
I feel so sorry for Corrine. She is clearly a very scared and unhappy person. And Randy, good god, what happened in his life that he is sooooo unpleasant?? Yay Bob!
The five fans gathered at my house to watch the show, and all of us held our breath in dread anticipation of what would happen if Susie got that last vote. Thankfully, Bob won. If Susie had taken the million-bucks the show would have lost at least five viewers for the upcoming season.
In defense of Corrine, this season would have been a lot worse if she hadn’t been on the show, and this was one of the worst seasons up until the last four episodes.
Also, if Corrine was a stand-up comic people would find her blunt candor to be very amusing. She’s not much different than Sarah Silverman.
I’m glad Bob won…he deserved it…although it would have been nicer if the show started on time…thanks CBS for bad planning, as per usual…

Man, I am shocked by the complete lack of humanity shown by both Corrine and Randy this evening. They truly are ugly, ugly people.
Corrinne is just a total piece of garbage. At least with Randy, you can tell that he man has had some serious issues (he hinted to being cheated on), and he is just naturally a bitter man. Corrinne tries way too hard and it comes off as forced. Sugar played a horrible game and deserved to be taken to town for it, but the comment about the dead father was way over the line. Just way over the line…
I think Sugar could have won if she would have defended her position a little more. The tribal council session did her in and all her scheming went right out the window, kinda like what happened to Amanda in China. Sugar swayed votes toward the end and didn’t own it like she should have. As for Corinne, it was just one last chance at getting airtime. She was just playing for a future “favorites” edition.
And another thing, people booed Corrine but Randy gets applause?? People CHEERED for Randy? Wasn’t he just as mean? Why the double standard? Think about that!
Hopefully, Randy and corinne will marry each other and then do us a favor and enter a suicide pact.

I know some of the things said by Corrine are not considered “kind,” but I found her honesty refreshing and amusing. A bitchy, strong woman was much more entertaining to watch than a weepy (Sugar), flirty (Parvati, previous season), self-righteous (Kelly), or apathetic (Michelle) chick.

The question I have for Survivor that wasn’t answered tonight:
Which three in the jury voted for Susie and which four voted for Bob?
I could see Crystal and Kenny supporting Susie but I figured Bob would have five votes (four former tribemates + Matty), particularly when it was discovered that Randy voted for Bob.
Corinne is my favorite from Gabon, by a lot. Sometimes it’s nice to see someone play the game aggressively, rather than just passive-aggressive. And I genuinely found her comments funny. (Given that Probst says he reads the comments, I feel like I should make a comment about his monologues here, but it’s late and I’m tired- what the hell, CBS football?)
Also, wow, I don’t think Sugar could have won anyway, but she lost the game HARD with her jury questioning. Basic rules of Survivor, man: defend whatever you did; sell out anyone around you when given the chance; and when asked why you voted someone off say it was because they were the biggest threat for either immunity or jury.
I feel like if Crystal or Corinne had been in the f3, they would have given an amazing performance at jury.
As is, I’m happy Bob won. He totally deserved it. I hope he can go buy a lot of expensive bowties with his $110,000.
We saw Matty vote for Susie, he held it up to the camera. Corinne, Charlie, Marcus, and Randy voted for Bob.
Really? I must have missed Matty’s vote, then. That kind of surprised me, I thought Matty and Bob genuinely respected each other.
Bob totally deserved to win. It would have been a travesty if Susie had. And Sugar is one of the hottest chicks to be on Survivor!
Matty and Bob did respect each other, but Matty’s comment was that he and Susie were friends on day 1 and they’re still friends on day 39, so that’s why she was getting his vote.
That said, I was so incredibly relieved to see that Bob won. No one deserved it more.
I agree that Sugar easily could have won if she had simply tried to win. She seemed to actively try to lose at the final tribal. If she was just going to do that, why didn’t she just sacrifice herself at the final four and allow Matty and Bob to take each other on at the final tribal?
Ok enough is enough! I am sending my video in! I am so excited for Bob, there is something special about Survivor winners, it’s there heart!
You have got to be kidding. The four that were using Bob to keep themselves in, Marcus, Charlie, corrine, Randy for Bob, Crystal, Kenny, Matty for Suzie. I am starting to believe Survivor is rigged. Bob is OK, but Suzie played the best game ever. corrine is the most uneducated person I have seen in a long time. How she could sell anything is amazing she has no cooth and it makes you wonder did her parents even try to correct her at all when she was young. What a loser
I’m very happy for Bob, but I did find it sort of cruel that Probst made Sugar think she’d won the $100,000 then psyched her out.
I’m just genuinely surprised anybody (even Kenny and Crystal, despite their alliance) could support voting for Susie winning Survivor, but maybe Survivor just edited out anything important Susie actually accomplished.
As for Sugar, she really did sabotage herself; I felt that Kenny, Randy and Crystal (based on their questions) would have been eager to vote Sugar instead of Susie/Bob if Sugar actually gave them proper justification to.

Personally, I thought Sugar played the best game of the finalists, but represented herself horribly at the final tribal council. Bob was just a nice guy with a few bright ideas that kept him in the game (I’m actually convinced the fake idol was on Sugar’s mind when she gave him that boost to a tie fire-off with Matty.) And Suzie did…hardly anything of merit (that we saw.)

But what annoyed me was the pettiness of the jury. Corinne and Randy and a bunch of them pride themselves on how smart they are. But I agree with Susie, Randy is just a very sad and angry man. Corinne went way beyond anything any decent human would do by bringing Sugar’s dad into the question. That’s just not fair. And in all fairness Sugar played a truly excellent game. She outlasted, outplayed, and outwitted everyone! unless you count not actually getting the million. Kenny threw any of his credibility by acting like a scolded child when Bob didn’t give him his necklace. That was unreasonable and didn’t make very much sense. And Crystal rode Kenny’s coattails all the way. She never was very helpful in any challenges. And she had the nerve to call out Bob and Susie. Ughh I dislike that jury minus Charlie and Matty
But all in all I’m so happy Bob won. He was a kick ass physical threat and played a great social game in the fact that he was very well liked.
Very very glad Bob won. He was totally underestimated and won challenges when he Had to to stay in the game. I thought Sugar played the best game, but shot herself in the foot at the final TC. I don’t think Susie deserved any votes.
