Agreed with all below, these choices are so horrible in a great year of music that I can’t even honestly vote for one of them… TV on the Radio had the best album of the year by far.

I think there was a mispelling in the options. “Best” is actually spelled w-o-r-s-t. No list that includes Rianna or Jason Mraz should ever have the word “best” on it.

THESE ARE THE CHOICES? God, what a poll for people who know good music. Of the thousands of albums and artists out there, this is what you choose? Who is working for EW that would seriously do this?
btw… Best album: Portishead “Third”, possibly Radiohead, TV On the Radio…there are so many.

Ah JillS, If you haven’t heard of any of those songs of Rihanna’s you obviously don’t listen to radio. She’s pretty much had more top ten billboard hits then any other artist this year and all those songs have been all over radio. She’s diffinitely not a one hit wonder.
It’s a throw-a-way society. You won’t even hear of her in 2 years. And no, I don’t listen to Top 40. It’s also garbage.
COLDPLAY is one of the best groups EVER. BUT…the rest of the questions and options were rather sad.
Is there where you can write in your candidate? The comeback I was most excited for was the Spice Girls Reunion Tour. Forget NYKOTB, give me Girl Power any day!

I agree with those complaining about the album of the year choices. Where’s the option for Nas, Kanye, Santogold, or She and Him?? Putting Jason Mraz or David Cook on there hurts a bit.
…oh and having Rihanna on there? I loved her CD but it came out LAST JUNE. Her “reloaded” CD only had 2 new tracks on it…you know the same kind of deluxe edition I saw someone complaining about in an EW blog post a couple weeks ago.
Agreed nunnya, the best Rihanna song by FAR is Please Don’t Stop The Music.
