Last month, we asked you to give us your nominees for 2008′s best and worstmovies, TV shows, albums (and singles), books, and style. We pored overyour hundreds and hundreds of comments, and came up with some questionsthat’ll help us as we put the finishing touches on EntertainmentWeekly’s annual Best & Worst issue. Below are four music-relatedpolls: Vote early and enthusiastically, then check back for the resultsin the pages of EW and right here at EW.com on Dec. 19. Thanks!
1. Who had the best album of the year?
2. Which movie soundtrack did you listen to the most?
3. Who were you most excited to see make a comeback?
4. Which of Rihanna’s ridiculous number of hit singles was the best?

Sorry, but I’m unable to vote in any of the categories becoz the choices are very limited – and worst of all – rather poor!
Panic at the Disco had the album of the year.
Me too!
Me too. Horrible choices. Come on, David Cook for album of the year? Whoever thought of this list has seriously limited and deficient musical tastes.
Actually, Rihanna’s best song is Please Don’t Stop the Music!!!!!
THESE are your options for album of the year? I hope you don’t print this in your magazine. Holy cripe.
ALL TRASH!! Best Rihanna single?! Really?! I was unable to choose in any of these categories as well.
The soundtrack on heavy rotation in my car this year: The Dark Knight score. A masterpiece. Shame on the Academy and their “technicalities”
The best album of the year was MGMT’s Oracular Spectacular. Your selections are pathetic.
Agreed with all below, these choices are so horrible in a great year of music that I can’t even honestly vote for one of them… TV on the Radio had the best album of the year by far.
Best Comeback… BRANDY.
I think there was a mispelling in the options. “Best” is actually spelled w-o-r-s-t. No list that includes Rianna or Jason Mraz should ever have the word “best” on it.
Still not believing these polls are serious.
THESE ARE THE CHOICES? God, what a poll for people who know good music. Of the thousands of albums and artists out there, this is what you choose? Who is working for EW that would seriously do this?
btw… Best album: Portishead “Third”, possibly Radiohead, TV On the Radio…there are so many.
WTF? You ask us what the best albums of the year were but we can only choose from that pathetic bunch? Are you being serious?!
There aren’t enough characters allowed here for me to point out to you all the more worthy albums you chose to COMPLETELY IGNORE. Horrible horrible poll. I refuse to take part.
