I could read an online synopsis so I’d know what this film’sactually about, but since the trailer doesn’t think it’s importantenough to tell me, I’m not going to bother. Jessica Biel plays a stripper, who appears to have the creative bent of Flashdance‘s Alex (Jennifer Beals) and the fashion sense of Showgirl‘s Nomi (Elizabeth Berkley). To her credit, she also has a slightly higher caliber of costars — Ray Liotta, Forest Whitaker, and Patrick Swayze (check him out at :25!).
Do you need to know more? Or, is your decision made: Are you in, or are you out?

Sounds stupid!
Once I saw her in I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry I was destined to see any movie where she played a stripper or otherwise removed articles of clothing. It’s in my contract.

Looks like a little too much mutilation for me, but best of luck with that…
I’m sorry….that movie was about what again? Those shots are all random, I could not tell you the plot of the movie. No, I won’t see it.
Also, what is it with the strippers already? I think starlets just want an excuse to go to a strip club and say “I’m doing research for a role.” Sheesh!
I’m in. Looks interesting with some pretty good actors in it.
She’s a whore!
I’m in.
Is she playing a real stripper or the kind that Jessica Alba played in Sin City that doesn’t actually take her clothes off?
“Huh?” That’s all I could think of whule watching that.
Not my favorite trailer, but Alba + Stripper = me there
Holy Moly, Swayze is crazy, but in a good way. Too bad I feel that the end of the movie is spoiled in the trailer or else I’d be more interested in this. Can’t wait to see the critical reaction to the film.
What was that?
WHa?? That trailer is some “less than zero” and “dancing at the blue iguana” mash up, which is so not needed in this world. I’m out.
Obviously it’s pretty hard to judge the movie’s merits since we’re told pretty much nothing about it.
I WILL say I did enjoy how the stripper-to-Liotta/Whitaker ratio kept leaning overwhelmingly toward “stripper” as the trailer went on.
