What a great album that was! And what great videos they made!
Savage is one of my all-time favorite albums of all time (yeah, I’m dating myself, I still call them albums!).
Not only is “Beethoven” a great song but it sets up the theme of the entire album in which Annie Lennox embodies a woman so deranged by love, hate, and passion that she fractures into multiple personalities.
Another great track is “I Need A Man” which would be a great song to perform in drag! : )
One of the greatest and simultaneously most underrated albums ever.
