Many EW staffers seem psyched that sinister, mangy weep puppy Jenny will get what’s been comin’ to her, probably since that time she thought she could be a waitress for like a day in season 2. (She was an even worse waitress than I was, and I once spilled a Diet Coke on a baby.) Does anyone else appreciate Jenny? I mean, I’d never want to go anywhere near her, but I’m glad she’s a TV character because she’s such a laughable mess and has huge green eyes. Your loyal PopWatch recapper Nicholas Fonseca and I think they should have killed Kit instead. What about you?

I hated Jenny since she showed her face I could only be happier if she were gone for good.
kit? no way. it had to be jenny. her character has been a tragedy the whole show thus she needs a tragic ending. at least she will be in all 8 episodes. couldn’t stand her character seasons 1-3 but I loved to hate her last season which is a huge testament to Mia Kirchner’s acting. she owned the crazy and just went for it.
Jenny was EXTREMELY ANNOYING AND I WILL NOT SHED A TEAR FOR HER DEMISE. BUT…we will still see her in flashbacks which means she will still be on the show. I have to give props to Mia Kirschner for her acting & creating one of the most annoying characters on television. Was that Max with a full mustache? I bet that Sergent Marybeth Duffy will hook up with one of the girls. I am thinking Bette.

Hating a TV character is always so tricky…it usually means they’re a good actor. It’s like when the nasty girl/guy on a reality show gets eliminated. You know they reserved it, but the show is probably worse now without them on it.
Shame it’s been spoiled EVERYWHERE on the net! However, as I think the season is told in flashback, still plenty of the fab Mia Kirshner. Jenny is consistently irritating – so many suspects! Hopefully Lucy Lawless as the detective will have lots to do this season…
That would definitely be my choice for the death…Im glad they stayed away from my favorite characters this time…unlike last time(Dana, sadface, still miss you)

I love Jenny mostly because Mia is an amazing actress and she sells it well.
I’m disappointed that Showtime decided to reveal her death before the start of the season. Were they afraid no one was going to renew their Showtime subscription to watch the final season?
I would have rather seen Kit or Max go. They really have no purpose on the show. Kit’s only there to serve drinks and call people “Grrrrrrrrl!” when they do something stupid and Max is only there to film Alice’s “podcasts,” so we don’t really need either of them around.
I wouldn’t have been sad to see Jodi or Phyllis bite the dust, either. I only hope the writers redeem themselves before this show is all over.

Thank God! How F****** annoying is that girl! What the hell is her role in the damn show anyway? I mean she went from innocent hetero to bi to kitty licker to total psycho. No wonder people hate us gays! We look psychotic! If I was Tina, I would of killed her off last season! Tina could of went to prison and shared a cell with Helena and then she could get conjugal visits from Bette.
Is Ilene Chaiken’s move a case of if-Jenny-doesn’t-end-up-with-Marina-she-might-as-well-be-dead? I hate to see Jenny go. Actually, it’s more like I hate to see Mia Kirshner go. She’s such a good actress and she’s served the character well.
I find Phyllis extremely annoying. She should have died.
The fact that so many people hated Jenny just goes to show what a great job Mia did. Not that the character wasn’t full-on nuts, but that’s what made her so interesting, folks! Q: What the heck makes Kit interesting? A: Nothing whatsoever. From the moment Kit was introduced it was as if she’d been troweled in from another series. How much more interesting for the show to have Bette do something other than bounce back and forth between lovers! In my opinion, the show’s creators made a major mistake. Kit definitely should have bought it.
NOOO. I mean hell yes she was annoying, but in a good way. And she had many moments throughout the seasons of being human. Towards the end of season 5 I was actually rooting for her against that evil what’s her name(crap can’t think of it right now, the one who wanted to be like her).
I don’t think it was cool to kill off Jenny. Kit YES. She was stupid annoying most of the time. And I never cared for Max. At all. Too whiny.
This sucks. I was hoping she’d persevere and ride off into the sunset by end of 6 with Nikki, shedding her evil ways. Since after all Nikki actually made her a much better person for a while. And sometimes that’s all it takes for people to change.
I mean I’d rather see Marlee Matlin go then Jenny.
WHAT?! I AM FURIOUS! How could they do that to Jenny after she was largely redeemed last season? She’s my favorite character, and I thought she would eventually end up with Shane. Not cool. Now I’ll just have to hope Mia Kirshner goes back to 24.

And I don’t usually love hating characters. Like, for instance, I hate hating Denny on Grey’s Anatomy. I used to love Denny, but now he’s stuck in such a stupid storyline that I get upset watching it and I feel bad for the actor. Whereas if JENNY was haunting Izzie, I would probably still hate the storyline, but I would so totally love hating it. Can you imagine how awesome that terrible storyline would become if they had crazy crazy Jenny haunting Iz???? (I know this is a completely random post, but I guess the fact that Jenny’s gonna die on L-Word but still be present on the show, I guess that’s what got me thinking of the comparison.)
Ilene spent a season doing “All about eve” last year, and now she’s doing “Sunset Boulevard”. Wonder who’s going to be ready for her closeup by series end…

I ended up with free Showtime for 3 months and tried watching L Word when I heard about it. Unfortunately the only character that was even remotely interesting and did not bore the hell out of me was Shane. The rest, well let’s just say I couldn’t pick any of them out of a line-up if my life depended on it.
WTF?!?!?! I cant believe this… i wanted to see jenny be somebody this season. I did think she was kinda CRAZY but that made me wanna watch..Damn… Last season lost me at times.. This season better bring it!!!!

Given the fact that the Alice spinoff is supposedly in prison, I guess it’s safe to say Alice is the killer, or at least gets blamed for it. God, how lame. I really hate Ilene Chaiken. Knowing her, this is all some stupid symbolism, considering she’s always said that the characters of Jenny and Bette are based on her.
Damn. I mean, I never really liked Jenny. But I didn’t want her to die. lol. I was actually warming up a little to her character last season. I don’t think I could pick anyone of the girls to die. I am a bit surprised that this has been spoiled so badly. Hope this last season is a good one.

Jenny is one of the most entertaining characters on the show. But that’s only because of the fab Mia Kirshner. I guess Jenny is getting what’s coming to her but I think this is a dumb way to finish the show. I hope they handle it well. Flashbacks don’t always work for tv.

Never was a Jenny fan. Girl grated on my last nerve! Although I WILL say that she wasn’t as pitiful last season as in the earlier ones. But I don’t think her fans should be all that upset…they’re getting her all season anyway. If we could a dead character back in flashbacks I would much rather have it be Dana. But, of well. When does the new season start? Anyone?

I agree about Kit being more annoying than Jenny. I mean at least Jenny’s actions were crazy but Kit is downright annoying. I mean,I know Pam Grier can act so why can she not on the L Word. Every other word out of her mouth is Grrrl which drives me crazy. Is that the writers doing or the Pam’s acting either way it has to STOP! As for Max, well, I can’t keep up w/him. Lesbian to trans male liking females to gay male. And before ANYONE jumps down my throat about being intolerant, I KNOW gender has Nothing to do with sexual orientation but Max is way too confusing. Even my lesbian friends say the same thing about Max who now likes a gay man–huh? I would hope this being the last season, the writers focus more on Tina, Bette, Alice, Shane, Helena &vI would like to see Marina & Carmen but less screen times for Max, Kit & Jodi. Hey, maybe Jenny will haunt people like Brooke did to Billy(talking about bad actor)on Melrose Place. Brooke also died in a pool.
