Oprah brings show to D.C., eyes Cabinet position?

Oprahobama_lSolid-as-Barack fundit Oprah Winfrey announced she’s hosting her talk show in Washington, D.C. instead of Chicago during inauguration week. We can’t help but think she’s got ulterior motives on the mind…

Psych! Oprah already holds all of these titles. But vote anyway.

People, how on earth can you stand that witch of an oprah? If it had not been for her stupid ass show she would be nothing.Obama has to be crazy to even associate with her.I just don’t get it.Obama might just as well put her on his cabinet. She will have her nose up his butt the entire 4 years he is in office anyway.People think every word out of her fat mouth is gold.WHY?It is no secret her and Gayle are lovers, that dude with her Stedman is a front.I wish Macain had won the election,I very much doubt MS.Oprah would have had time for him like she does with Obama. It is time her insipid show was canceled. And that baldheaded DR.Phil is another one of her devil aide’s.How smart do you actually believe she is.Without her writers she would not even have a show.I cannot see her trying to do a show without writers, her knowledge base is very limited, yes she is only a talking head. She need’s to stay away from the White House and all the things Obama is doing. My dog is a better showman than her!

How about Chairwoman of the FCC? That organization’s head is usually just a friend of the White House’s anyway (the last chairman is Colin Powell’s kid and he got the job because he’s Colin Powell’s kid).
More important, OPRAH’s COMING TO WASHINGTON! I’m already renting out a room in my condo and will stand in line for those audience tickets if need be. What will she give the audience? Free flags? I can’t wait!

Well, she’s got *something* up her sleeve. She recently turned down the opportunity to be the keynote speaker at the American Library Association annual conference in Chicago this summer (a bigger deal than it sounds). Barack Obama was keynote speaker the last time it was in Chicago in 2005. ALA wrote her a beautiful letter asking her to attend–they outlined how much she’s done for libraries and reading in general, how grateful librarians are to her, and some of the noteworthy people who have spoken at ALA conferences lately (Obama, Al Gore, and Madeline Albright are some of the few mentioned), and how much it would mean to Chicago, but she still declined. How difficult would it be to take one evening out of her life this coming July to give a speech to a professional community that has supported her so much over the years–especially since it’s taking place in Chicago itself?

    HaHaHaHahaaaa….
I feel the disdain for Oprah, I don’t have much love for her either – but dumb she is not, she’s got millions in her pockets everyday & she executive produces her shows so she is making all the money…
she got good advise & ran with it, so that proves she’s not to dumb to learn from others….
But Oprah bugs the ish outta me too, she thinks she knows everything & I don’t buy it…she’s been living this out of touch existance for too many years for her to know much about anything – I bet the Obama’s lived a more ‘real’ life prior to his campaign than she has for the last 20 years…
Oprah just thinks she’s too good for ‘regular’ people, and they are the dumb a**es buttering her bread everyday…to each his own…
