This would have worked in the late ’70s when I Love Lucy was all over syndication on local stations (some independent), the TV Land of back then. But it works now. If there’s an ultimate holiday TV marathon, it’s not these ’80s, ’90s or current 2008 shows that I like–it’s I Love Lucy! Funny, funny shows from left to right! Even the Vitametavegamin ad episode where Lucy gets drunk, even when Lucy and Ethel couldn’t keep up with the conveyor belt at the chocolate candy factory! These shows are still funny and fresh 50 years later (I’ve been watching most of them, whenever I can, for 29 years since I was 9).

God I love this…nothing can top this brand of humor…50 plus years later, we all still love Lucy!
