This is what happens when a guy and girl keep going back and forth, on and off, and the girl’s self esteem finally crumbles..she will believe anything, fearing the worst. (and he has ‘hooked up with her friends before’??)Audrina is not psycho or crazy, she is a girl who does not know her own self value. And she can’t distinguish a healthy relationship from one that is unhealthy, thinking its ‘love’.
Why is it that all of us (viewers who have never met any of the cast) know that Lauren and Justin Bobby hate each other with the fire of a thousand burning hells but Audrina who “dates” one of them and is “BFF” with the other believes that they hooked up based on one rumour??!! Is the girl really that stupid? It’s got to be some kind of ploy for more media attention or a bigger plot line because there is no way she could honestly believe that two people who can barely stand to be in the same room with one another would actually hook up. Maybe her fake boobs are leaking and poisoning her brain somehow because I can’t believe a person is this stupid naturally hahaha
I agree with the previous comment about how Audrina’s self-esteem is battered by the on-and-off thing. Not proud of this, but I did almost the exact same thing to an old flame — and he responded almost identically to JBob. He screwed me over many times — I just got that one wrong.
However — I only freaked on him. I never confronted my girlfriend: thank God! So in that respect, I can understand Lauren’s anger. But I would also think once she made her point about how disgusting she finds him, she’d be able to sympathize a little and recognize where Audrina is coming from. Lauren may be a stand-up girl, but I truly think she lacks empathy. She is VERY judgmental of her friends.
“Flirting? I would rather kill myself than hook up with him. He is disgusting. Justin disgusts me.” You know Lauren has been dying to say that for a long, long time. Everyone always seems to hold back their opinions on this show because they know their friends and family will see it at a later time. So it’s great when they finally let go. That’s how you can tell when the people and the producers aren’t BSing.
Thank you for an awesome recap. I totally agreed. My thoughts: 1) How much collagen does one woman need, Heidi? It was SO out of control! She looked so much better natural and without the sick yellow Barbie hair. I’m blonde too, and she needs a new colorist. 2) The emotion WAS great last night–even Audrina. In the beginning of the episode when Audrina cried to her friend, I really felt for her, what it must feel like to think that somoene you loved hooked up with your friend. I can see how hurt she was to call everyone and ask if they knew anything. 3) Lauren’s wrong to say Audrina’s worse than Heidi, and it’s kind of funny how this the same situation Heidi was in–defending herself against a rumor that she did something wrong. The difference is, Lauren didn’t hook up with JB… OOOH!!!
Justin IS hot, but the things he does to Audrina is just disgusting (e.g. the pool scene, how he treated her in Cabo, etc)! But it’s so obvious she’s just not very smart but EXTREMELY hot… that’s why he can’t move on. He’s waiting for someone who’s just as hot but will stimulate his mind as well, and in the meantime put half-a** effort. Ohh, and the music on this show is freaking awesome.

Plus Justin Bobby made out with a girl in the pasrking lot a few years ago in front of Audrina – so of all the people on the show he seems like he would be the one to admit anything

But wait…I didn’t quite understand what Audrina ment when she said: “You’re doing the same thing you did to Heidi to me.” I’ve watched every episode so did I miss something?!
I don’t know who is stupider– Audrina for believing and spreading such a stupid rumour, or Lauren for caring that such a twit would believe it. Audrina’s about as smart as a peanut butter sandwich, and she’s dating a scumbag– of course she would believe it.
First World Problems!
When I first heard this rumor I laughed out loud. But Audrina totally bought it! I guess I know Lauren better than she does from watching “Laguna Beach” and “The Hills.” Maybe Audrina should check out the dvds.
Oh, and how obvious is it that Spencer and Heidi started and fed this rumor?
I never thought Justin Bobby would come out looking like the better person in the Audrina-Justin saga. I think Lauren had every right to be upset. How many times does she have to say it did not happen for Audrina to believe it? Seriously.
This episode had me laughing out loud. I was about to feel sorry for Audrina, but then I remembered she makes $35K per episode and lives in a $1.2 million house. And she would be better off with a new guy anyway.

This was the best episode in a long time.. Sorry it had to happen at the expense of (dumb as a box of hair) Audrina! Lesson learned: Find good friends, and trust thier word.. otherwise you have nothing..
