Last night’s Justin Timberlake — excuse me, Paul Rudd/Beyoncé — episode of Saturday Night Live featured a French-kissing family, gratuitous zoom-ins of pixelated pubes, a vibrating anal cell phone, a song about prison sex, and Snagglepuss. Unofficially a giant middle finger to California’s Proposition 8, this was officially the series’ gayest installment ever. (The over-the-top I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry brand of gay, that is. Next time SNL wants to be so deliberate, why not deliberately acknowledge the existence of lesbians?) Watch the Spanxiest of Timberlake’s three segments, below.
New featured players Abby Elliott and Michaela Watkins popped up a few times — each more than Casey Wilson, though all three showed terrific commitment to faux vomiting and bleeding from the eyes.

I”m still ROFL. Justin really needs to do SNL more often. He is a natural at it and funnier then most of the other hosts. He was, in fact, the funniest part about SNL last night.
JT was good, but don’t forget Paul Rudd. He was the best host they’ve had this season!
Justin’s “Weekend Update” bit was just as hilarious. I haven’t laughed at a non-political skit this hard in years. I think his addition to the cast might be the only way to save this show. “We’re The Dancers”

I totally did not expect to see Justin pop up on SNL last night. I am not the biggest JT fan but I have to admit when he is on SNL he is funny. The last time he hosted was one of the funniest SNL’s I have seen in awhile.
I’ve been enjoying this season of SNL in general, but last night was the hardest I’ve laughed in a long time. And not just at the Timberlake bits (tho’ they were fabulous).

This was a show definitely in response to Prop 8. Almost every sketch was a challenge to every yokel that is uncomfortable with anything remotely homoerotic.

I am not a teeny, but I love JT. He is incredibly talented and so open, that he kills whenver he is on this show. I also think Beyonce is a GORGEOUS woman with a decent voice, but please do not ever let her “dance”. She has almost as many freakish movements as Jessica Simpleson.
O my goodness, I just love the skit. I can’t stop laughing. Justin and Beyonce have great chemistry together. When they performed on Fashion Rocks together it was fire. Isn’t it interested that Justin picked Beyonce’s night to announced that he will not make SNL’s Thanksgiving weekend…hmmmm. Justin and his management knew what they were doing. But this segement of SNL was the second highest rating next to Palin’s show. ONLY on Beyonce and Paul Rudd’s promotion. BRAVO SNL, Beyonce, and Paul Rudd. And thank you Justin! I hope Justin and Beyonce can do more work together…

Why is it only California getting flack for Prop 8, when two other states passed similar propositions on Nov. 4th?

There are now 4 women in the cast, yet aside from the digital short, Kristen Wiig was the only one used last night. Casey Wilson has barely been given a moment to shine, and I don’t even know what the two new cast members look like! What gives?
justin timberlake makes me laugh outloud everytime he shows up on SNL. he should really consider joining the cast – i might watch regularly, cuz that skit was hi-lar-ious. i don’t know how paul rudd kept a straight face, nevermind beyonce, with those 3 fools dancing in leotards and tights. priceless. now i’m disappointed i didn’t watch last night…youtube, here i come.
I’m a fan of Justins and keep up with his schedule. I don’t think he really was suppose to host next week. I think that was just used to do the weekend update skit. He is one funny man. Now that he just bought an apartment in New York and is planning on moving in next week maybe we’ll at least get more SNL cameo’s like this one.

As a gay man from DC, who went to the rally/march in protest of proposition 8, I found it quite entertaining to come home to what I thought was one of the better episodes of SNL in a while. Gay is on the mind right now, and they put out some political and social satire, which is, by the way, THEIR JOB.
