Warm up for the CMAs with new Jason Aldean, 'She's Country'

Categories: Country Y'all!, Music

We’ve enjoyed the Georgian hat-act stylings of Jason Aldean since 2005’s "Hicktown"; last year’s surly "Johnny Cash" just made us like him — and the Las Vegas Boneyard — even more. Now he’s nominated for Best New Artist at tonight’s CMA’s (especially confusing, given the fact that we’ve been enjoying him since the aforementioned 2005), where he’ll be performing "She’s Country," the first track off an untitled third album due next year. Stream it below, then use the comments to weigh in on Aldean and all the rest of the CMA hoopla, coming to you live from a reportedly electricity-free downtown Nashville. We’ll be back tomorrow with a wrap-up of bests and worsts. [NOTE: We are not aggressively rooting for Sugarland at all whatsoever. No. That would be wrong.]
