Mama Miriam Makeba has been and will always be an insparation for all.Even in Hip hop music some of the artiste like Liquid KZN did a song with her sample voice(Click song.We’ll always rememmber you Mama Africa.REST IN PEACE

Mama Africa was, is and always be a living legend, she took our history; our pain and turned it into music and she was a patriot before the nations abroad, she will e greatly remembered for her great contribution towards what we call today… a free South Africa.

Miriam Makeba’s glorious voice introduced me to the wonders of world music. Her “Pata Pata” is a true classic. Makeba is a diva who will be missed. RIP
