I’ll be the first to admit that I get a little too excited over TV movies (see here, here, and here.) But how do you not squeeeee! when you read about a Lifetime original starring Eddie Cibrian, LeAnn Rimes, and Rosanna Arquette? According to Variety, in the forthcoming adaptation of Nora Roberts’ Northern Lights, "Cibrian (Ugly Betty)will play a distraught cop seeking refuge in a remote Alaskan townfollowing the death of his partner, only to become entangled in amurder mystery involving a new love interest (Rimes) and her mother(Arquette)."
They had me at "distraught cop."
Correct me if I’m wrong, but this appears to be Cibrian’s first Lifetime production. Are there other actors you’d like to see take the plunge?

I haaaaaate Eddie Cibrian. Anytime I see him I automatically think of him as Jimmy “The Do–hebag” Doherty from Third Watch. I realize that he may not really be like that, but you know what it’s like when an actor plays a role so well that it must come from personal experience. I can’t stand the guy.
I have to disagree, I loved Eddie Cibrian on ‘Third Watch’ … when an actor portrays a role really really well, as if they’re really living it (whether the character is likeable or not .. and probably moreso if the character is not always likeable) .. I think “wow, that person must be a really good actor!”
This is my favorite Nora Roberts book, and I love Eddie Cibrian! Hooray! I’m not sold on LeAnn Rimes, though.
I just saw The Cave. Eddie Cibrian is so hot that I could watch him eat popcorn for two hours.
