According to Variety, Rob Schneider is set to star in the "sex comedy" Virgin on Bourbon Street. All the trade says about the plot of the film is that it "sees a night of debauchery threaten the university career of a sexually abstinent woman student." I poked around online, and it appears as though Step Up’s Jenna Dewan plays a co-ed with a scholarship from an abstinence group, and Schneider is the Chicks Go Crazy producer who, I’m just guessing here, tries to corrupt her.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how painful does this movie sound?
P.S. Should you happen to live in Detroit, and have an affinity for the craptacular, the production is looking for paid extras: $7.40 an hour.

Rob Schneider anything is painful, imo!

Anything with Rob Schneider deserves a 10 on the painfulness scale.
This sounds dreadful. I must say, however, on Mr. Schneider’s behalf that I loved “The Benchwarmers.”
That sounds horrifically unwatchable. However, if I were in Detroit, I likely would be an extra because I do lurve anything craptacular.
Wow – this movie sounds craptastic! There’s no way I would ever waste my time or $$ on this piece ‘o crap. Rob should just resign himself to bit parts in Sandler films….
Wasn’t this already kinda made as Cruel Intentions. And it’s way more funny that this will be, albeit not intentionally.
The only way it could be more painfully craptacular is if co-ed and sleazy producer suddenly realize at the end of the movie that they’re crazy for each other. Then they run in slo-mo down Bourbon Street into each other’s arms. (Ouch, that hurts even to *think* about. Sorry, brain.)
I hope Jenna Dewan really thinks about this film before doing it. It does NOT sound entertaining or funny in the least. From a great dance movie to THIS? Come on, Jenna. You can do better. I agree with Martha’s comments… please do not let the movie end this way. MsBug, The Benchwarmers was painful. I can’t watch a movie where Rob Schnider’s wife is completely gorgeous and he insists on peeing in the shower with her. That wasn’t funny or true to life. I’d hope he or any other man would never do that or any of the other incidents he pulled. The only shining moments (and that’s stretching it) came from Spade and Heder.

ouch
thank you. goodbye
Ewww! Gross! Pathetic to see Schneider reviving his Male Gigolo persona.
If the movie is about a woman’s virginity being challenged, the guy in question should be someone HOT like Orlando Bloom,Leonardo diCaprio,Elijah Wood, someone like THAT. Not Schneider!
This soungs horrid!!! Ick.
This is going to be set in New Orleans, isn’t it? And yet they’re filming it in Detroit? If you’re going to made a horrid movie about the tackiest part of my city, at least have the decency to come film it here and give us your money. That is all.
