I was prepared for an hour (or more) wait this morning, but I didn’t even have time to take the book I brought out of Read the full post.

Waited just about an hour exactly. Listened to DJ Green Lantern’s and Russell Simmon’s Yes We Can Mixtape on my iPod while I waited in line. Received a sticker. USA! USA! USA!
No lines in Macon GA and I got my sticker!! They were just lying in a pile- I could’ve taken a handful.
I waited 45 minutes…and yes I got screwed out of a sticker! I REALLY wanted one.
I live in LA, and I went to vote at 8am and waited about 30 minutes. I did get a sticker, though!
During my hour long wait, I played TextTwist on my IPod until it started raining on me (as the line at my Baltimore polling place was almost entirely outside). I did get a sticker, but was disappointed that in Baltimore it only declares “I voted” in English. When I was living in DC for the primaries, my sticker was bilingual.
There are no stickers in New Jersey! Arg!
No stickers in Honolulu, either. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes.
iPod Touch!!! Freakishly addicting Texas Hold ‘Em…
I didn’t have to wait at all at my polling place, but I did come prepared with a book, in case I needed it. And I’m currently reading the Guide for the Perplexed, so my reading material would have fit in well with the large Orthodox Jewish population who votes at my polling place (ironically, the gym of a local Catholic school). And, yes, I did get my sticker. And even had the opportunity to buy some girl scout cookies on my way out.
Reading EW and then my manga Path of the Assassin, all the while listening to Prince. I had just enough reading material for my 3 hour wait in Columbia, SC.
I spent an hour and a half and just listened to music and people watched. A lot of attractive people were waiting in line. I didnt even know there were stickers.
Question from a foreigner here: what is this sticker you’re talking about?
You have to get up very early in the morning to get a sticker. I don’t understand why they can’t have enough to last after 10 am. Double the order from last time! Maybe I can run on that platform and get elected to my local town council – people seem to care about stickers alot more than they should.
No line but no sticker either in Bk. Boo. But did anyone else get oddly emotional? It was nice to be part of the moment. I should’ve come up with a soundtrack then for it.
PA voter: the kids at the High school where I voted were an entrepreneurial bunch: baked goods, iced tea, water AND Chick-Fil-A was for sale.
