Must Book–Melissa Anelli’s “Harry: A History” offers an overview of the growth of the Harry Potter fandom from the inside. Anelli is the webmistress of The Leaky Cauldron and has been involved with the explosion of Potter excitement since very early on. It’s a great book!!

The soundtrack for “Twilight.” Picked it up Tuesday morning on the way to work, and listened to it all day long. Who knew Rob Pattinson had such a great voice and was so talented??
New trailer for Harry Potter 6! It’s coming …
“Legend of the Seeker”! Come on, i can’t be the only person that that’s totally geeked out to see this New Zealand-filmed sci-fi show, a little reminiscent of “Xena.” It even has “Xena”/”Lord of the Rings” Kiwi actor Craig Parker in it as resident baddie, Darken Rahl. Fabulous scenery, kick-butt lead actress and great fun.
The fabulous, but apparently for naught, performance of Brooke Smith, in “Grey’s Anatomy” who just got canned. Shonda, I’m so ashamed.
And mourning the loss of “The Ex-List.” I’m so bummed. Finally, a show about a single 30something that feels a little true to life, and isn’t starring a 22 year old stick insect. Seriously, people, did you WANT it to get canceled? It was in the Friday night death spot. Shame, network TV!

Melissa Anelli’s “Harry, A History” is a must-read. It is a wonderfully written book, filled with reminices about the phenomenon that has become such an integral part of my life. I can’t imagine a more insightful novel about the Potter fandom than this, and the interview and foreword with JK Rowling is just the icing on the delicious cake that is “Harry, A History”.
