Another Halloween has come and gone, and yet the creepiness of the holiday lives on, thanks to a couple of upcoming pop-culture releases that arrived in the mail last week.
Exhibit A: The back cover of Jim Norton’s I Hate Your Guts, which features the author (wearing a suit jacket and WHITE SOCKS) taking a whiz on a crushed bouquet of yellow roses. Revolting!
Exhibit B: The DVD cover for Noelle, a "Dove Family-Approved" holiday film featuring a little girl whose facial expression falls somewhere between "come and play with us" and "are you mad? I am your daughter!" Disconcerting!
I leave it to you to make the call as to which is more disturbing. Vote in our PopWatch Poll, then share your feelings ("mommy!) in the comments section below.

The book jacket is infinitely more disturbing because, as Slezak points out, the guy is wearing white socks with his business jacket. Horrors. The girl just looks like she needs a candy bar and some sunshine.
Why is Jim Norton famous? Because he did a Colin Quinn hosted talking head show with three other talentless morons on Comedy Central? Note to Jim: If you are going to trash on famous people and politicians, it’s funnier when you know what the heck you are talking about.
Creepy kids trump rude behavior any day of the week.
At first glance I thought “Noelle” was the Swedish version of the cover of a teen fantasy novel.
LOVE Jim’s white socks, they’re big white athletic over-the-calf tube socks. PERFECT. Guys look ridiculous in anything but, and they look so hot with dress clothes.
