Awesome. Best part of the episode.
Too bad the story itself fell so flat. Surprisingly, the Transformers section was the best one. The Grand Pumpkin started off strong, but rapidly faded. And the best bits were in the promo.
The Mad Men opening credit spoof was spot-on. It was awesome! The rest of the story – meh. The “Grand Pumpkin” was funny as a Peanuts spoof, but not that funny on its own.
I missed seeing Kang & Kodos – were they on at the beginning or were they not appearing this year? I missed the first 5 minutes.
Kang and Kodos were dancing at the Halloween party during Grand Pumpkin. I don’t think they had any lines this year.
I thought the Mad Men episode was by far the funniest. Homer killing celebrities so they can sell crap on TV. Come on, they had a “gay” Abe Lincoln! This had me falling off the couch and going all kinds of spastic on the floor. Can’t wait to watch again tonight.
I love you Madmen, and I love you Homer Simpson. Twenty plus years of cultural significance has earned the Simpsons a place in my heart forever. As for Madmen, I’m just glad they brought back the cool part of 60′s style back into fashion, instead of the lame-o hippy crap that’s been peddled on us for so long. Go Don Draper!
