'Sassy' Elisabeth Hasselbeck believes in Maverick Sarah Palin

So what’s a Republican presidential candidate to do when even supporters are saying your hot-but-inexperienced running mate lacks the substance to win the White House? Why, you call on hot reality-star-turned-conservative-talk-show-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck to introduce her at a Tampa rally, of course! To me, this makes about as much sense as Barack Obama answering the radical-anti-American accusations by taking Michael Moore on the trail, but I guess that’s why Rick Davis is McCain’s campaign manager and I work at EW. Any PopWatchers catch Hasselbeck’s pitch for Palin (check out a clip below)? Does this affect you one way or the other?

dear lord, she is the most irritating person on the face of this planet.

The only thing Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s endorsement of Palin has done for me is further reinforce my decision to vote for Obama. And I’m an Independent Pennsylvania voter, the kind McCain desperately needs. Hasselbeck is a flaming robo-conservative moron with a big mouth. She’s the reason I cannot watch The View.

  • Hasselbarf

Just confirms what a nutball she is. She yaps on and on about Obama’s faulty judgement with Rev. Wright, but she has no problem with Sarah Palin being MARRIED to a man who wants to seccede from the country? What a hypocrite!!!!!!!! And sorry, but she’s not hot, either. Pretty(until she opens that big dumb mouth), but not hot

  • Steve

Elizabeth knows her stuff! The left will fall on their face as the middle class will vote in bigger numbers as a result of Gov. S Palin on the ticket. I’m sure the left will have to wait another 4 years.

  • PA Voter

I’m with you, Hasselbarf! And Obama never tried to get his brother-in-law fired over a family dispute. Nor did he take his uninvited kids on business trips and charge the taxpayers for it. Nor did the DNC buy him $150,000 worth of clothes and makeup. Both those women are nauseating. I’d love to see Hillary kick the sh*t out of them.

  • Miss Sassy

Hey, steve, I remember you from other blogs. Has Palin sent you any of that $150,000 the RNC spent on her yet? Funny how the polls are showing that Palin’s now a bigger liability to McCain than Bush, isn’t it? Oh, I guess you didn’t see the news that day.

On the rare occasion when something like this happens, why don’t we hear all the right-wingers saying that the Hollywood celebrities should shut up and keep their opinions to themselves and not tell us who to vote for? Just curious.

  • 90% Bush

Scott P, I have an answer to your very good question. The right-wingers don’t scream about their own “elitist” celebrity endorsers because they’re a bunch of pathetic, self-serving hypocrites. Am I right?

Here is a useful resource related to Gov. Sarah Palin – the most comprehensive page of information on her record available on the Net. It includes videos of her saying her proposed $30 billion natural gas pipeline is the “will of God,” her saying a month ago she doesn’t know what the VP of the U.S. does, and her complaining four months ago that Hillary Clinton was whining about “sexist” coverage -
    http://dailysource.org/palin
It has in-depth research, audio clips, videos, excerpts and links to hundreds of articles, including many from papers and TV stations in Alaska. It has rare footage, including her telling the 2008 convention of the Alaska Independence Party, whose goal is to give Alaska a vote on seceding from the U.S. to “keep up the good work.”

Thank you so much Elizabeth for not bowing down to all these people who really don’t care about keeping their word. If Obama will lie about campaign contributions what else will he lie about. Elizabeth knows her stuff and since hearing from my pastor how Obama has a team of online people chiming in when someone puts something negative about him. He is trying to rule the internet but there are thousands of us Republicans being quiet and will show up on election day and will vote and the Repulicans will have victory. One thing I know for sure after talking with all my Republican friends. People are going to be shocked when they see the turn out of Republicans at the pole who are just sitting and listening to all the empty promises by the democrats. I am so glad Elizabeth is someone who stands up for what she believes. All you online Obama team who are monitoring the web, I can’t wait until election day when all the Republicans show you, you don’t control people like you think:)

  • Miss Sassy

Wow, Pam, that’s an awfully paranoid statement: “Obama has a team of online people chiming in when someone puts something negative about him. He is trying to rule the internet.” Did you forget to take your medication this morning?

  • Mopsy Twin

I would say it’s like the blind leading thr blind, but why would I insutlt the blind? I agree with Donald Trump, Elisabeth is the dumbest persoon on television, lmao!

  • Pam

Wow, here he is:) I don’t need medicine. I’m a working mother of three kids who wants people in office who don’t just speak pretty, but who has a track record of working for me. I don’t want an inexperienced person to make choices for me. I want someone who has been on my side and for me in past decisions:) Thanks for the comments:) (The Proof:)

  • Pam

Who would believe anything Donald Trump has to say:):):):):):) Wow, women with brains, beauty, and morals must scare you all quite a bit.

  • Betty

annonymous, that is an AWESOME web site. Non-profit and non-partisan. Thank you so much for bringing it to our attention.

  • Scott P

Note to the rest of the online team: Pam and her pastor are on to our great scheme, we have to call it off! Fast!

  • Miss Sassy

Pam, my question is: who would believe anything YOU have to say? You talk like a crazy person. Obama’s trying to take over the internet??? Are you also afraid he’s going to summon the Mothership to take us all to see the Martians?

  • PA Voter

Damn, you’re right, Scott! We have to shut down the operation NOW!

  • Pam

Gee I wonder who annonymous really is:) I can give you info on video’s with Obama and Mr. B saying saying stupid things they wish they hadn’t. Now I know for sure what he said it true. Thanks for the proof I needed:)

  • Miss Sassy

Okay, Pam. Let’s see your videos. Get to work.

  • Thalia

There is something really nazi like about this rally when they start chanting USA USA! I have believed for a long time now that facism has crept into the right-wing GOP. Heaven help us. Go Obama!!

  • pam

Now play it off like I’m crazy. Why is the media so negative to Palin and McCain? Do people really not know these people are trying to control how they vote? It doesn’t take a real smart person to figure this out. Get your own brain and do research on the candidates and don’t let anyone tell you how to vote. Check the people out and make your own decision based on facts. Oh, by the way:):) Oprah is the one who is becoming the next Jim Jones:) You want to talk about a woman who leads people around by the nose.

  • Bonnie G

It is refreshing to actually hear what Elizabeth has to say without camera hogging Joy & Whoopie talking over her on every show.

  • kikiquela

How come Elizabeth doesn’t mention the unique friendship between Sarah Palin and The recently convicted felon Senator Ted Stevens?I guess Elizabeth is looking at the world through ” rose- coloured glasses!”

  • Guesswho

If the presidency was about sucking ****, i’d elect elizabeth instead of mccain and obama . She’d be good at it.

  • Miss Sassy

Pam, I make it a point to research all the issues using nonpartisan sources, and I go to the candidates’ web sites frequently. And who are “these people” you’re talking about? Are you referring to the GOP mudslingers?

  • Pam

Robin Hood is a legitimate hero, not because he robbed from the rich and gave to the poor, but rather because he returned to the poor what lawfully belonged to them.
This distinction is what separates the just goals of Robin and his band of “Merry Men” from the dehumanizing economic theory of “redistribution of wealth”—a hallmark of socialism—as explained and supported by Senator Barack Obama in his 2001 interview with Chicago Public Radio, just recently rediscovered by the media.
While the famed green archer risked his life in defense of the natural right to retain private property (from thieves like the cruel sheriff of Nottingham and King John who stripped peasants of their land and livelihood), in this interview Senator Obama questions to what extent this right even exists.
But don’t take my word for it. Listen to it. Did you hear what I heard?
There can be no longer any doubt. Senator Obama’s enduring political philosophy is socialist at the core. And his leanings, in this regard, are radical; he would like to see all three branches of the federal government play a role in restructuring our society according to “redistributive” economic principles.
As I listen to the interview, I must say it is hard to believe our leading United States presidential candidate said, just seven years ago, that it is a tragedy the civil rights movement failed to get the Supreme Court to venture into the issues of redistribution of wealth. It is hard to believe the leading United States presidential candidate said, just seven years ago, “any three of us sitting here could come up with a rationale for bringing economic change through the courts.” It is hard to believe the leading United States presidential candidate suggested, just seven years ago, we should be seeking legislative and administrative avenues to effect “redistributive change,” since it is impractical now to get the courts to do it on their own. It’s even harder to believe the leading United States presidential candidate, just seven years ago, was talking about the importance of community organizers “putting together the actual coalitions of power through which you bring about redistributive change.”
But then again, maybe I shouldn’t be surprised. Seven years later, and just one month before Election Day, Senator Obama said to Joe the Plumber, word for word, “I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everyone.”
I don’t doubt Senator Obama’s good will. In fact, he is right about many things.
The great divide between the rich and the poor in our times is scandalous and reprehensible. And the blessings of this earth were destined by God for the common good of all his creatures.
But we know from history, from very sad periods of history, there is no real justice—no progress and no lasting peace—when its pursuit involves beating down some to lift up others. And we also know, by the dictates of reason and the practice of all ages, that when the government decides it can suspend the natural right to private property, through repossession or redistribution, or whatever they choose to call it, that government is on the wrong side of truth.
    Just ask Robin Hood.
    God bless,
    Father Jonathan

Keep talking, Elizabeth. Keep talking. McCain needs your kind of endorsement. Blindly patiotic, shirking reason, keep pointing out why the Republicans are out of touch. Keep talking, Elizabeth, keep talking. As you see from PA Voter, you’re really helping your candidate. Keep talking Elizabeth, Keep talking.

The less informed they are in the this country the louder they preach.
