FYI – here in KY – you CAN wear a political button, shirt, etc when you go vote – you just can’t hang around the polls afterwards (I’m an election officer) — YEAH PUSHING DAISIES — love Obama, but I’m sure this will help the show more than him

“It’s not clear why the senator’s campaign didn’t buy airtime on ABC as well as NBC, CBS, and Fox”? Sure it is! ABC hemmed and hawed too long. When they finally tried to say yes, the campaign had already spent the money elsewhere. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/10/27/AR2008102702774.html?sub=AR

I’ve all ready early-voted for Obama, so I am perfectly happy to watch the wonderful “Pushing Daisies.”

  • Amy

  • Carli

I will be watching Pushing Daisies, of course.

  • Phil

    Vote Independent, Watch Pushing Daisies!

Much as I love Obama, nothing ever, EVER beats Pushing Daisies.
Everybody, spread the word on this brilliant show!!! If the ratings are good tomorrow, especially against this special, then PERHAPS ABC will rethink possible..you know…(I don’t really want to say the word, but you get my point).
    SAVE PUSHING DAISIES ’08!!!

    Pushing Daisies, all the way!

  • Kasumi

Well, I think everyone has heard enough about the elections. By most polls Obama is wining by a significant margin, so why waste time watch another political speech when you could support and save a great show that may not get another chance.

  • Gina

Early voter who already did her research and knew how she was going to go, so with all due respect to Mr. Obama, I too will be watching Pushing Daisies!
    Don’t forget to vote everybody!

  • Sue

So I thoroughly enjoy Pushing Daisies and expect to tivo it tonight, but I have to ask — does anyone else find the audio for the dialogue on this show to be just terrible? I live in a tiny apartment w/neighbors who can hear everything, and I feel just awful when watching this show b/c I have to jack the volume all the way up to understand what the characters are saying (and I’m not accusing the actors of mumbling, just saying that the sound quality is terrible in comparison to nearly every other show I watch). Anyone else or is it just me?

  • Jackie

I already know I’m voting for Obama, so no need to watch the half-hour commercial. “Pushing Daisies” all the way!

  • Ben

Good for ABC. I’m happy I’ll be able to watch “Pushing Daisies” rather than listen to the endless droning of political vomit coming from the Marxist.Somebody, please shut his piehole. What an empty suit.

@Jenny: Thanks for the link to the info.
Re kim in kentucky’s comment: Anyone not living in Kentucky should double and triple check the laws in their state before heading to the polls, especially if you’re waiting until Election Day to vote.
You can’t blame Obama’s campaign for wanting to do this: they have the money and apparently there are still undecideds at the 11th hour. If it ends up helping a struggling show then everybody wins. (I won’t be watching anything since I don’t have TV but I might check out the Obama speech when it hits the Internet.)
