And you want to know why our society is sick and will vote for a socialist in a heartbeat? There you have it. I love humor and roasting as much as the next person, but we have a generation, perhaps two of them, raised on this filth. And these folks are our future? God help us. Roasting can be done and can be hilarious. It doesn’t have to be X-rated. And you want to know why our country and influence are declining in the world. We’ve lost all respect, and these filthy and crass Hollywood types are to blame. It seems decency in this country went out the window a long time ago to the point where no one even blinks at crap like this – no, they even ENJOY it and will admit it publicly. Sic.

This sounded funny, but would have been funnier if I could see their facial expressions, like, say, on video!

Just remember, the circulation numbers are down and the newspapers are feeling it. Now, just stop watching the Today Show and Good Morning America, and they’ll go away too.

Roast or no roast, the women at this event were out of line and not funny. Gross is more an appropriate word. The women were trying to outdo the men for shock value and they succeeded! Disgusting. Ladies, they are not.

And these people think their political views should be taken seriously?
    They’re all idiots.

Poster children for the typical Obama supporter. God have mercy on us….

These people are trash…I’m never watching the Today show again.

You all make it sound like the Friar’s Club Roast is something new.
It’s been this dirty since 1950 when Sam Levenson was roasted, and probably earlier, since I am sure there were unofficial roasts from 1904 on.
There is a reason it isn’t televised anymore.

I am let down by Meredith….always thought she was a classy lady…..now I know…So disappointing that these seemingly intelligent, formerly respected (by me) people show their true, crass, and degenerate colors in a public forum – caring not whom they may offend…..What has happened to decency in this country?

Jane – you’re late for a Palin rally you ignorant twit.

  • Helen

You people need to get a sense of humor.

Reading the comments on here, I have to say… if you’re looking to the hosts of TV Shows for your morals and direction, and are now “Let down” – you deserve that.
Dear God… are you serious? This is humor. And if this type of salty humor isn’t for you, that’s one thing, but to turn this into a forum to spout venom about a political candidate or cry about how wrecked you are now and how you are now left in spiritual shambles and don’t know where to turn, well… that says a little more about you than it does about the participants. Remove the stick and you may be able to walk more comfortably, kids.

I’d be eating curry, too – but these days there appears to be too much fat in it.

I am shocked! I, too ,have lost all respect for these people and obviously, they have no respect for each other. It is sad that they think they have to resort to such crude, disgusting behavior in order to be funny.

Is there any way this could be put on Pay-Per-View?
