I know this is old but I Loved Iron man and Terrence is one of my fav. actors.Iron man 2 would have been my dvd that I wear out watching if they would have cast Terrance back.Dont know what went on but I hate it when they change someone and Terrance was the MAN for the movie.If there is a #3 I so hope he is cast back in but I doubt he would even give them the time of day.Removing him just ruined my experience with the 2nd one.

WELL I WASNT SURPRISED BECAUSE INFACT THE COMIC OR THE ROLE OF W-MACHINE ITS A DARKER AFRICAN AMERICAN AND NOT LIGHT WHICH MAYBE THEY WERE TRYING TO GET RIGHT BUT THEY IN THEIR OWN RIGHT ARE GREAT ACTORS.. BUT I ALSO HATE CHANGES IN MOVIES

T.howard is a great actor gonna miss him in the role but don cheadle is a very seasoned actor with his best yet to come and he is an amazing gift to the SAG.

i had heard nothing of Howard being replaced before I saw IM2. My first reaction to seeing Cheadle was WT?? But I quickly got over it and overall I loved Don as Rhodie. I liked the sequel better than the 1st.

Iron Man was great due in large part to Howard’s chemistry with RD (Tony). The sequel suffered hugely without him and wasn’t nearly as good as IM1 – don’t mess with success. Sounds like Favreau was the real problem in dropping the ball by underestimating the intangibles Terrence brought to the film.

I’m also the supporter for Terrence Howard as Rhodes, but the stats at wikipedia shows very little decrease in movie revenues. So how can we convince Marvel to recast Howard back?
