I was just looking for either an embarrassing or respectable Viggo clip to post in honor of his making it a half-century, and instead stumbled upon scores of homemade fan tributes set to soothing tunes. My fave: the one that uses "Magic Man," embedded below. It’s got still images AND clips. The videographer calls herself "Deucelady." And the "More info" field reveals "This is my second Viggo video." There’s really nothing not to love about this entire situation.

That was cute! Happy Birthday Viggo! Love Ya Magic Man!
Watch him in WITNESS (1985) for some early Viggo.
Well, that just made my day. Thanks Deucelady for making this, and Annie for loading it up here.
Happy Birthday Viggo. Magic Man, indeed!
Now, I just have to go and get a cup of tea…must get my heart-rate back down to normal
Awesome video! Viggo Mortensen is one of those underated awesome actors up there with Johnny Depp, Christian Bale and Josh Brolin. Love you Viggo and happy birthday!
Viggo you are amazing, hope you have a wonderful birthday.
Espero que Barrientos y Bergessio metan un golazo a tu nombre en el proximo partido.

I love you, Viggo! Marry me!
Viggo remains my best ever celebrity sighting as an Angeleno. I literally dropped the papers that were in my hand and kindof stared and then ran away. I think I was in shock. Happy Birthday Renaissance Man!
My, oh my. I just adore him. Thanks for posting this, Annie! And thanks, Duecelady, for making not one, but two, Viggo tributes. Because one is just not enough!
HOLY CRAP that man is hot. Annie — you must find similarly fascinating men to celebrate more birthdays on a weekly basis.
Love the scene in Stepford Wives when they discover that Roger’s Viggo shirt is in the trash – that’s how they know something is terribly wrong. HB Viggo – you are the very definition of “Fabulous”!!!
Even when he’s 70 he’ll be a hottie!
Once again Happy Birthday, Viggo or Til Lykke as we say in Danish!which I told you in person on the 18th of October while you were in Denmark. Viggo just continue to be yourself cause that’s what makes you so very special – a real Dane, as I, we are down to earth. We enjoy life now, not seeking the glamour life, we love life as it comes to us. We are not hunting for fame cause we accept who we are, we do not need fame to enjoy life. We are all connected – fame or not. However the skies are not yet UPSIDEdown, Viggo.you said at your exhibition in Denmark that life can be upsidedown or downsideup – I fully agree, but we have to take it as it comes. Hasta luego, Viggo
