Most of the country is still talking about Obama v. McCain after Thursday night’s final presidential debate, but here in the halls of EW, we’ve taken to debating Palmer v. Allen v. Bartlet v. Roslin. So tell us PopWatchers, in honor of Nov. 4′s election day, which TV president would you most like to see in the White House?

‘Peanuts’ for president? The race heats up!

Hands down David Palmer…best TV president ever!
He should be our next president!
Another vote for David Palmer !
Vote for President Truth!!!Obama wants to add tax only to the higher income bracket!!And they are not saying that at all, in whatever conversation it is!It,s allso false advertizing, and by law can be prosecuted, and notice who is doing it the most, (the higher tax bracket)Americia wake up to their greed.
My vote goes to Geena Davis. I love her “smarts” and determination. She IS a smart lady in real life, with an IQ of 140, and a member of Mensa. We could use a female like her in the white House….brains AND beauty!
Definitely Bartlett. If only he could have rune a thrid time ….
Jed Bartlet. No question. Watch the first episode of the West Wing, and you’ll see it. Or really any episode of the West Wing.
Bartlet all the way, plus we get the added bonus of Abby Bartlet, an amazing First Lady.
if dennis haysbert ran for president in real life as david palmer, he would 100% have my vote
I’m voting for Lee Adama. Sure, he’s young and untested, but he is inspiring and the change we need. Tigh is an angry, bitter man and Roslin is a glasses-wearing fascist who talks to the gods way too much.
The debate may have been Thursday on the east coast, but here in the Mountain Time Zone, it was on Wednesday.
And definitely Jed Bartlett. Best TV president ever.
Roslin rocks!! (and Barlet)
My vote goes to Laura Roslin purely because she’s awesome, and one of my favourite characters on TV right now. She can be pretty scary and autocratic despite the sweet little schoolteacher demeanor, though…
My vote would be for President Bartlett of the West Wing. So realistic, so reassuring. Even when they made mistakes. Only wish a real Jed Bartlett was running. Given that Jed Bartlett was a expert on Economics. He would be so needed in this real world. But he made the West Wing worth watching.
David Palmer
