Box Office Challenge: A world of 'Payne'?

Maxpayne_lHere’s a quick recap of Columbus Day weekend, PopWatchers. The Redskins and Cowboys both got shocked on the last play. North Dakota may have started turning purple. And Body of Lies, the A-list union of Leonardo DiCaprio, Russell Crowe, and Ridley Scott, was defeated by a mutt. But this wealth of losers had no parallel in EW.com’s Fall Box Office Challenge, where a savvy 12 percent of players accurately predicted that Beverly Hills Chihuahua would repeat as champ, and where "kipw44" won the weekend.

Point is, anybody can be a winner in our game — provided they log on by Friday at 8 p.m. Eastern time and correctly foresee the order of films populating next weekend’s box office top 10 (think W. can beat Max Payne (pictured)?). Better still: A pack of free DVDs are at stake each week. And best of all: There’s no way you can get beaten by a dog.

Ahahahahahaha! Sorry, nothing to do with the post, just have to laugh at that movie poster. How can marketers seriously keep using the “flying with two guns blazing” thing after “Hot Fuzz”? It’s a total joke now.

    Babs-
The best part is, he’s not even pretending to be shooting at anything…he’s clearly looking right at the camera.
