They say Rome wasn’t built in a day. Ha! I built a city in 13 minutes*. And I did it on City Creator, a site for armchair urban planners (as opposed to the real kind, like the late Edmund Bacon, "The Father of Modern Philadelphia" as well as "the father of Kevin Bacon"). Building your own burg is a matter of drag-and-dropping buildings, roads and walkways, and some fine upstanding citizens onto a blank field reflecting one of three architectural themes (medieval, futuristic, and winter wonderland). You can even save and share your creations with others.
*Full disclosure: My city, New Philadelphia, measures four blocks by six blocks — but it has free municipal WiFi and a winning football team.

This is extremely weird. I’ve been reading PopWatch since the beginning. Decided to become an urban planner this week, and here is this random link.
Whoa. Sim City flashbacks, anyone?
Hey, the Eagles did win yesterday. It was ugly, but they won. GO PHILLIES!
