While Tina Fey’s Joe-Six-Pack-loving Sarah Palin has been garnering a Bering Sea-sized wave of attention (we’re guilty too!), I think it’s time to pledge our Read the full post.

The music during Life. I’m always impressed by the material they choose because it makes the show more edgy and interesting.
Yeah, Samberg’s Mark Wahlberg skit was definitely hilarious, but let’s not also forget Anne Hathaway as Julie Andrews in the hilarious Mary Poppins skit. Anne’s impression was spot on!
My must of the week: Caught Running, by Abigail Roux and Madeleine Roux. And Regina, “natch” has been around since long before EW published its first issue. I first read it in a Trixie Belden, of all things. The writer isn’t trying to make it happen; you just haven’t heard it before.

“The Wordy Shipmates” by Sarah Vowell… I heart her and her books!
Definitely Jason Segal on HIMYM. He is fantastic!
I think it’s time for The Daily Show and Colbert to get on the list- their level of quality the past few weeks has been astonishing and it will keep on going through the election.
Others worthy:
The Big Bang Theory
How I Met Your Mother (2 CBS comedies? What is this world coming to?)

Supernatural has been terrific in its 4th season. The addition of Castiel the angel and the God storyline is mysterious and menacing rather than hokey. But most of all, Jensen Ackles makes the show- his scenes with his teenage mother last week just killed.
– “The Simpsons”: The Complete 11th Season on DVD – This is the season of “Save me, Jeebus!” An iconic “Simpsons” phrase if ever I heard one.
– “Robot Chicken” Season 3 on DVD – You gotta give it up for Seth Green, truly the coolest (and most hardworking) nerd of our generation.
– “Sleeping Beauty” on Blu-Ray/DVD combo – starting this week with the Disney classic, the Mouse House will release all their major discs in this double- (and sometimes triple-) disc package, so for those at home who haven’t yet upgraded to Blu-Ray hi-def, but intend to soon, they can get both versions of the movie for the same (relatively) low price.
The documentary Religious is a fantastic and irreverant look at organized religion with the always reliable Bill Maher. God, this movie is funny.
Seeing my favorite drama queens from daytime (like Eden Riegel) and primetime (like Jessalyn Gilsig) be as funny, sexy and potty-mouthed as they want to be in the web series “Imaginary B1tches.”

“Acid Tongue” By Jenny Lewis is a sharply, written sublime rock masterpiece. Lewis channels Rondstat, the Eagles, and classic country while remaining a true iconic original!
Misha Collins in Supernatural. Only the best angel/tax-accountant ever to grace the screen and who had the best entrance of a character in recent memeory. Also, he’s really hot.
-Rachel Getting Married AND Anne Hathaway as guest host on SNL (I’m even more impressed w/her after seeing how versatile & solid of an actor she is…so great)
-Tina Fey as Sarah Palin (I don’t agree w/the unbalanced mockery of the political parties on SNL but it is undeniable to watch Tina in action…uncanny)
-The Office (I can’t get enough & neither can my friends…looking for “that’s what she said” moments has become apart of pop culture)
-Estelle & Kings of Leon
