During the kidnapping heist that Michael was trying to prevent, he tried to make it look like a 2nd security team was in play just to watch the 1st team (watchmen watching the watchmen). Could the same thing be going on with Carla’s operation? They could’ve killed Carla’s sniper when they figured that Michael might jeopardize whatever mission they were planning. Maybe they’re trying to “shut down” Carla’s team so to speak which includes Michael.

Very enjoying episode and chracter moments.
Was Victor (episode 6) on one of the picutres? Some of them were abit blurry.

I’m okay with waiting. I hate it when too much information is revealed too quickly. It ruins shows when the mystery is gone, like when Maddie slept with David, or Angela slept with Tony. I know I’m dating myself. The point is that when information is revealed too quickly the writers have to reach to come up with new episodes and it shows in the scripts. And Burn Notice is the best show of its kind on television.

I agree that more should have been revealed in the finale to move the story along. This short season has had less emotion and less romance generally than last season. If Burn Notice wants to be “James Bond” it will work as is; if it wants to keep its female viewers it needs more than good motorcycle races.

I’m okay with waiting over the haitus for the info. I guess I’m just a patient person. I thought it was interesting though, that the Mike & Fi non-verbal communication while he was making his “speech” on the telephone .. wasn’t actually scripted. According to Jeffrey (check out his “emmy party” video interview with Ausiello on this site if you haven’t seen it yet), that just kinda came out as they worked on the scene.

Is it possible that the side and Carla’s meetings were about the same family? The kidnapping was scuttled and then the sniper was killed….. I have also been wondering if Campbell is an operative for Carla. I hope that Fi make Carla pay for trying to blow Michael away. Can’t wait until January!!

SOS — will someone with Tivo please PLEASE post the speech script? One of the best moments in the show by far. And I also loved, in the finale, Michael’s question to Fiona, “You really like him that much Fi?” Jeffrey Donovan is a wonderful actor. He doesn’t overplay anything.
And The Speech was so Michael Weston: I’m going to say it, because I’m desperate, but I’m going to do it in a coded, self-protective way. Poor guy.
But there’s a side of me that’s stubborn and wants Fi to hold out for a real, open, declaration. No codes.

I LOVE,LOVE, LOVE THIS SHOW! It was PERFECT! I don’t want to know why he was burned right now.I’m enjoying the ride.I just hope if Carla gets replaced it is with another female.I think maybe Mike was not REALLY burned.Maybe it is a cover for him to infiltrate this organization.LOVE the Mike/Fi scenes! I think J.D should get a EMMY NOD for well EVERYTHING HE DOES!

Sam had the best lines of the episode: Sam to Michael: I got one of my FBI buddies to get me the files in exchange for some Sammy Time…. Hey, not all my buddys are guys!” Later – Michael to Sam: “I could kiss you.” Sam’s retort: “Get in line!”
