I have loved Adrien Brody since before he won his Oscar so it always warms my heart to see his picture! As for his magic-ness, he did indeed perform as a magician when he was a teenager.

I saw the gala screening in Toronto and Gavin O’Connor became extremely emotional when discussing the 10-year uphill battle to Pride and Glory into theatres. He also praised New Line, Warner Bros. and Edward Norton and the rest of the cast for helping to push the movie to the top. I enjoyed the flick, but it had a “been there, seen that” feel to it. I’m not sure the shelving made any difference in regards to the quality of the picture, to be honest.
