After seeing this behind-the-scenes photo of new cast member Gale Harold on ABC’s press site, my excitement level for Desperate Housewives‘ Sept. 28 season premiere was at a 10 — even with the hair that I would trim and the shirt that I would lose. So you can imagine the squeal excitement at 5:52 p.m. ET last night, when I received an email saying that ABC had just uploaded the episode to the site. I won’t spoil it for you, but let’s just say that this — or any — shirt really isn’t an issue in his first two scenes as Susan’s lover.

OMG! I can’t wait to see Gale again on weekly tv! I think he’ll be a nice addition to the cast and I think he and Teri will be great together!
But can someone PLEASE tell the hair stylists at ABC to fix his hair? It looked so much better in the 5 seconds we saw of him in last season’s finale!

Yes, I am THRILLED about this upcoming season starring the ultra cool ladies from Wysteria Lane. I’m even MORE THRILLED that the staff writers have decided to step out of their TV Comfort Zone this year and experimented with something NEW – the Five Year Flash Forward . . . Very nice touch indeed! Gabby with kids, now that alone is worth tuning in. Question is – will this new concept work? I say YES!
I don’t watch Desperate Housewives anymore, I might just watch it now that Gale’s in it, but which episode exactly is he on, that’s been posted?

Even with the hair (which, seriously, ABC — come ON), I’m at about a zillion. Never watched the show before last season’s finale, but now — at least while GH is on — I am IN. WOOT!!!

Im definitely at a 10! The hair is not the best, but it’s still Gale, and I love him! He is amazing, and a great actor IMO, whatever everyone says.
I’ve already seen some clips with Gale from the new season. I was already planning to watch, but my anticipation gets keener and keener.

Gale Harold is the only reason I will be watching DH this year. Hell, I sat threw the entire finale last year for that 8 seconds of bliss.

I’m so excited that I’m actually going to watch this show (which I never showed interest for before). This is the power Gale has.
I’m actually not that excited. I loved last season until the 5 year jump, which was a cheap trick to get out of certain plot lines. Just because that technique works for “Lost” doesn’t mean it works for everything else. Where is Mike? Also I don’t buy Gabriel’s transition from fabulous to frumpy. The jump forward left me feeling a bit cheated. Still, I’ll watch, in hopes that it isn’t going to be all downhill.
