So here I was, all nervous that I was going to have to sit through another two hours of America’s Got Talent ridiculousness. But as one commenter pointed out, last night was only an episode to reveal the top ten! And thankfully, there were actually some surprises. First off, we got to see the ZOOperstars! faces. Well, almost all of them, as Pee Wee Geese was still in costume. But who knew that the ZOOperstars! actually look just like the Cadence? Faux hawks, blazers, fashionable jeans…they should have just danced looking like that. (Watch them performing in costume below.)
As for the top ten, the Wright Kids made it. Then, in a terrifying moment, where it looked as if America had to choose between Queen Emily and Neal E. Boyd, both of them made it through. Pretty sneaky there, Jerry. Though it was pretty cool to see all the judges genuinely nervous for once. I never thought I’d get to see Piers Morgan shocked. Then we got Paul Salos, Jessica Price, and Kaitlyn Maher. I think they’ve created a monster here. How would you get rid of little Kaitlyn now? No one is going to vote her off, because that means he or she would have had a hand in making a four-year-old cry. Then we got Donald Braswell, Nuttin’ But Stringz (yes!) and Eli Mattson. Eli Mattson and Sarah Lenore shared a tender, lingering hug onstage as she had to leave. I’m totally starting the rumor that they had something going on backstage; who’s with me? Last but not least, the judges chose Joseph Hall over "Baton Boy" (as Sharon called him in a very Paula moment, when she couldn’t remember Jonathan Burkin’s name).
So there you are, America: Your top ten. Do you agree with the picks? Disagree? Surprised at how many commercial breaks they were able to squeeze into half an hour?

The only thing that surprises me is that EW.com is devoting a TV Watch to this while neglecting better shows like Bones and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
I read on my TIVO that we are voting out 5 people next week. So I pick Eli, Donald, Neil, Queen and Nuttin but strings for my top 5.
Two kid acts, two impersonators, and two middling singers, geezsh. I get Zooperstars aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but how SickStep and BatonBoy got bypassed I have no idea.

Kaitlyn is truly adorable, but, come on! She is no million dollar talent. I am very upset that she was passed through to the top ten when there were several more deserving talents that were sent home. I am sorry, I would not spend the money on a ticket in Vegas to see a 4 year old who can barely sing. Nothing against her — just, if this is truly suppose to be a “stepping stone” to a career – give it to someone who needs the career NOW>
This show is so bad, and the remaining “singers” mediocre. The audience left weeks ago. See, only a few comments. Well at least that imbecile Hoff is happy. And the sob stories are still there. Look out though. Neal is drooling. He may eat Kaitlyn.
Watch Hole in the Wall instead. No blubbering!
Give me a break with the 4 yr. old already. I have two grandchildren apprx the same age. While she’s cute as can be, did she have more talent than Sick Step or The Baton Boy? Enough with her already!
I also would not pay money to see Kaitlyn sing. I think she should have been voted off long before now. They sent Sarah home and kept her? What’s up with that?

I’m sorry but 4 yr old Kaitlyn needs to go. She may be cute but who in their right mid would give her a millon dollar contract! She really has NO talent. They passed over so many that did have a chance. I don’t believe that the public voted her back, I think it has to do with the show itself trying to keep the ratings up! They should demand a recount!
Give me a break! 4 year old Kaitlyn should not be in the top ten…Her parents know that and so does everyone else in America…..Her parents and the show should be ashamed of themselves for bypassing much better talent. A frog has more talent that Kaitlyn does. I will never watch America’s Got Talent Agent…..
To The Truth – Eli Mattson is mediocre??? Obviously, you are watching this on a black and white TV with a cracked speaker. Eli is fantastic. I would pay to see his show in Vegas.

Having watched the results show last night, all I can say is three cheers for diversity. Nine singers and two guys playing hip hop violin that apparently Piers would plunk down money to go see for an hour and half. The other insane aspect was watching the expressions on Sharon and David’s faces when the two overweight, teary eyed black singers were on the stage with one of them in danger of leaving. You would of thought another plane had flown into a building. What a couple of drama queens. At least on the other talent shows the contestants are judged by other singers and dancers. How can criticisms from an over the hill actor, a Simon Cowell clone and someone who’s only distinction is married to a drugged out rock star have any validity? And when did it degrade to whether a contestant has talent or whether they can sustain a 90 minute nitely show in sin city? So I guess now it’s America’s Got Vegas!
I think the little 4yr old is as cute as all 4yr olds…I think she looks like a deer in the headlights… and it is all a bit much for a 4yr old. Shame on you adults, for allowing this to go on.
By the way, watch where you swim, because America’s Got Talent like Nashville Star has definitly jumped the shark!
Don’t they have enough Elvis impersonators in Vegas already?? Very disappointing baton boy didn’t get through. And yes, Kaitlin is cute but enough already – does anyone really think she can perform for an hour and a half in Vegas show??? And I agree with msa for final five.
The 4yo needs to be pick up by Disney and get off this show. i don’t know what else happen because the changes they have made left me little to enjoy.

wow, i think everyone went from hating the zooperstars to hating Kaitlyn. I don’t know what you people want the show to do. America voted for her. Should AGT say sorry Kaitlyn you were in the top 4 but we are going to put someone else through instead. That would be insane. While i enjoy her, i would highly doubt she goes any farther than this week. the voting is up to America. Blame the views for putting here through not AGT. Yes Eli is mediocre. If he was more than mediocre he would already be a recording star. Fine, you pay your money. It may cost about $1000 a ticket since there will only be a few people buying. I could see the originals for less $. You are the target audience for this show. Very low expectations. Good for you.

Please, please , please tell me why they keep Sharon Osbourne on the show. I am ready to quit watching the show because I can’t stand listening to her. She is rude and doesn’t have a clue when it comes to talent. Her voice is whinny and she makes a fool out of her self every week and she keeps getting more obnoxious each week. She is certainly not someone I would want judging any of my children. If Sharon is on the show next year I won’t be watching any of it!!!
