The original UK series was great, the ads for the US remake look terrible. I suspect that this series will follow the path of the US version of Coupling and meet a quick end.
While we are on the subject of US remakes of foreign shows…that Kath and Kim show looks even worse!

The original british show was great. I fear this will suffer the same fate as Coupling – great in england, sucky here. yay red forman, sure… but, it’s a limited show. the british version ran only 7 eps (a WEEK, get it?). all in all, i expect to be mighty disappointed.
Umm…you are def NOT alone in thinking that this looks hilarious.. I actually laugh outloud (and hard, yes) when the commercials come on, which is rare for me! Yes, Red Forman (Kurtwood Smith) is obvi amazing but i think that Kyle Bornheimer was an excellent choice for Fresh Stars to Watch cause i think he’ll steal the show.. I am definitely adding this to my DRV!

I’ve seen commercials for this and I haven’t laughed once. It looks like a premise that will get old pretty fast. I see numerous bus and subway ads with the guys wearing that fugly diaper and I’m already sick of this show. The only redeeming quality is the return of Red Forman.
Nothing funny about this show, if anything it’s way to stupid.
