After checking out the BBC promo, Wallander looks very interesting. I agree with many others that pulling MI5 from BBCA’s lineup was really stupid. Hopefully calmer heads will prevail when they see Richard Armitage rejuvenate the show. I’d also love to see Stephen Fry’s Kingdom. And what’s the latest on The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency?! Is it going to air this season?
All of these dramas look bloody brilliant! Especially the period dramas like Little Dorrit!! Why don’t they play all of them on BBC America? It is so annoying they only pick and choose the reality shows that are cracked! Play some British dramas for heavens sake!!
I am stoked for MI-5. Richard Armitage is a fantastic new addition to an already great show. I hope I don’t have to wait for the DVDs.
I think once America has tasted some of our finest British talent, such as Richard Armitage in MI5, there will be a hunger for more well produced/directed/acted programmes from the BBC in future.
