Announcing the Summer Box Office Challenge winner! (And a new Challenge for the fall!)

In case you haven’t noticed, summer’s over, PopWatchers, it’s over (on the movie calendar, at least) — back to school! But before you hit the books, here’s a quick recap of EW.com’s just-ended Summer Box Office Challenge: The very wise "neilplinden" won the whole 10-week contest (bravo, smarty!), followed by "thebige," "alexgold," "Mhilson," and "filthyrich." Oh, and let’s not forget that "xanatos" took top prize for last weekend’s round. Congrats, everyone!

Pretty good news, eh? Well, it gets better: Our Fall Box Office Challenge is just getting revved up. This weekend sees the release of Nicolas Cage’s Bangkok Dangerous — and the start of a brand new installment of our movie-money prediction game. Why not give it a shot?
