Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Bastards just keeps getting more and more interesting, in an it’s-either-going-to-be-genius-or-a-total-stinker sort of way. Mike Myers (pictured) has joined the cast as a British general who "takes part in hatching a plot to wipe out Nazi leaders," Variety reports. Which brings us back to our headline. Fill in the blank…

this is going to be one of the best movies of 1999!
Best movie of 1999! LOL
A way less traditional version of So I Married an Axe Murderer?
How about making a popwatch thread about what movie would we like made into a tv series?
Not to be a Quentin apologist, but I am looking forward to this. Mike Myers may have attempted career suicide before. But he has an amazing ability to rebound. He can do drama…he was good in his bit part in 54 and he was good as the ex-hockey player turned commentator in Mystery, Alaska.
Springtime for Hitler?
Mike Myers + Quentin Tarantino = Comeback.
I too thing this project just gets more and more interesting. Though it could turn out to be a complete trainwreck, at least Tarantino is almost assured of doing something that’s not like most of the generic crap out there.
The only surprise for me is that Myers’ character isn’t Scottish, since he seems to have a fetish for doing Scottish accents.
How about “Why aren’t you working on that Keith Moon biopic, Mr. Meyers?”
I cannot believe I just misspelled his last name. Sorry!
Quentin Tarantino + Mike Myers = Box Office Disaster!
When is Tarantino going to make the “Less Than Zero” remake he has been threatening us with for years? I love Mike Myers (long before Austin Powers), but “Less Than Zero” is what I want to see QT make.
He’s hoping it will do for him what it did for Travolta.. not gonna happen.
Mike Myers + Quentin Tarantino = Clash of the Titan Egos
Good one, Martha. I’ll needlessly add:
Mike Myers + Quentin Tarantino = Clash of the Titan Egos Whose Best Work Seems to Be Behind Them
Fat Inglorious Bastard.
Is this going to be a big screen Hogan’s Heroes with graphic violence and 1940s pop culture references?
QT + MM = MENOGO
