Okay, Amanda, may I call you that? Let’s go in another direction. Everyone knows you’re a wonderful comic actress, but maybe that’s the problem. You’re bored with that.
Let’s look at a whole new genre, sci-fi or fantasy. Now before you laugh me out of the room, remember Lord of the Rings. You could do something like that and be very believable. Vampires are hot now too. Again you could do that.
And you’d have more new fans than you would ever believe existed out there. Don’t give it up just yet.

Lifetime TV…here comes AB. JK!You all are right. AB needs to hit the guest appearances for 30 Rock and similar shows to show off her comedian side. She has amazing comedic timing and she should definitely do well in movies like “Hangover”… Dramas would be good but I think she would do best in comedy and even a super hero type role (some of you already suggested this). Not Syfy movies (serious,ugh) but serious type of Science fiction roles. AB good luck, but please do not retire! You are 24 not 42!

Amanda, I suggest you get down on your hands and knees and beg BEG! Tina Fey to give you a guest spot on “30 Rock.” Prove to your fellow female comedians that you’re funny and they’ll think of you next time they have a film in production. OR “bump” into someone in the Apatow clan and be the funniest chick they’ve ever met. I have faith in you. You were hilarious in She’s the Man. I know you can do this.

She needs to look @ Anne Hathaway’s career: From The Princess Diaries( and other tiara flicks) to Brokeback Mountain to D W Prada to Becoming Jane to Get Smart to the new Oscar buzzing Rachel Getting Married. Finally,Hathaway may get her first Oscar nomination for this film Also, she needs to study the careers of Jodie Foster,Elizabeth Taylor, and Sally Field. These females had some of the best transition from teen movie star to adult film star.
She needs to regroup.
Now, it is paramount that she take creative risks- whether it is tv or the movies. Mixing commercials films & independent movies.

I really like Amanda Bynes, but I think she needs a new direction. I’d like to see her branch out from teen girl comedies and do something more serious. I think she needs a well-written dramedy and then perhaps a romantic comedy.
