I don’t speak Italian, but I’m hooked on Capri, an Italian soap currently in its second season. Read the full post.

MUST:
1. MUSIC: SOULFLY “CONQUER” – another awesome set from Max Cavalera and Co.
2. TV: SUPERNATURAL – Season 4 is coming and Season 2 is about to hit DVD.
3. COMIC BOOK: “DEATH WALKS THE STREETS” – Vampires, Demons, Zombies, Werewolves, The Mob, Oh My!
4. MOVIE: PINEAPPLE EXPRESS – Apatows latest can’t get here quick enough!
1) Breaking Dawn by Stepanie Meyer (Amazing!)
2) Pinapple Express
3) Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2
Jay Brannan’s “Goddamned” – One of the stars of “Shortbus” has crafted a thoughtful collection of folk music. Best songs include “Goddamned” and “Half-Boyfriend.”
1. “Breaking Dawn” by Stephenie Meyer. I know that half the people will be nominating this but truly it is the culmination of everything we love about the series and I was sad to finish it knowing it was the last one.
2. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince trailer. It looks dark and intriguing and gives promise to the idea that this one will be good.
3. Those crazy ads for HBO’s new series True Blood. Even if I didn’t know anything about it I would still watch it because it’s interesting. Plus Alan Ball + HBO = must be good.
1. Generation Kill. Sundays on HBO. Maybe you won’t watch it now, but you’ll be hearing about it for the rest of your life. It’s that good.
2. Conor Oberst’s self-titled album under his own name.
3. Everybody already knows abotu Mad Men right? Okay, good.
My Must see for TV is no longer available. Can anyone tell me why FX has chosen to stop showing Buffy reruns? Any chance you tough guys at EW can go beat up the guys at FX? Thank you! (said with a southern accent a la Brenda on The Closer)
1. Big Brother — have to love it, but too bad the earthquake didn’t get rid of Jesse and a few others
2. “Ace Young” by Ace Young. Great mix of rock, pop and R&B…plus a smokin’ video for the single.
3. Celebrity IVF: the new “wave” of kiddos in LA! HOw can this many twins be possible? OH, wait, it’s Hollywood
Danny McBride an underrated comedy force. whose has on many occasions saved some films including the heartbreak kid and hot rod. His role in Pineapple Express should be a brilliant departure from his typical mustachioed doughboy.
The Comic-Con Posters for Watchmen which can be seen at http://rss.warnerbros.com/watchmen/
Oh and Burn Notice with the return of Nate and the building tension between Michael and Fi, it would appear as if the sophmore season of this fantastic show just might top its first
oh and Burn Notice. With the return of Nate and the growing tension between Michael and Fi this brilliant show might just top its first season. Oh and I am so glad they didn’t stick with the whole Michael going to therapy thing. After the Sopranos, Tell Me You Love Me, In Treatment, and Monk I am a little tired of that road.
The Hills Season 3 on DVD- LC, Audrina, and Lo living together was the perfect drama to end the third season! Now will Audrina and LC stay friends or is this another Heidigate?
Paris Hilton on FunnyorDie.com- To that “Old White Dude”, don’t mess with Paris or she just might ruin your chance for the White House.
It may be from a childrens’ album, but take a listen to They Might Be Giants’ “Alphabet of Nations”. They should totally use it during the opening ceremony of the Olympics. And no, ‘West Xylophone’ is not a real country.
Woth everyone carrying on about Breaking Dawn” I had to throw a shout out to Stephanie Meyers’ first “adult” novel, The Host. It’s a thoughtful and original take on the old sci-fi standard of alien body-snatching and well worth the read.
I’m still creeped out this week by Little Voldemort Jr. in the “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” trailer. It’s way more exciting than the release of “Breaking Dawn.” Come on…how is the image of Dumbledore surrounded by fire in a cave NOT cool?
Psych, Mad Men, The Closer, Burn Notice, (I know that’s four)
