yes bbc america — PLEASE continue to air MI-5!
Thank you for this interview! I feel it brings out Richard Armitage’s intelligence, humor and gentlemanliness (sp?) that his Army knows and cherishes.
Although seeing him in US productions would be great – I only wish for the best roles, as he deserves them – (US stuff is just not as good, I fear, yikes!)
Thank you, thank you, thank you for that plug to air Spooks in America! This was a great interview, and I’m thrilled to have stumbled upon it. Love it and can’t wait for RH season 3. XOXO from Syracuse, NY
Merci beaucoup pour cet intervieuw, dommage encore et toujours si peu de très bon films ou séries anglophones qui soient transmises sur notre vieux continent français…de tels acteurs de haut niveau devraient avoir leurs place en haut du panier télévisuel ! Encore merci !
Thank you for this interview, EW. I look forward to seeing how he’s going to play Guy in S3 now that he’s told us a little more about it. Thanks to Mr. Armitage’s performance, I love watching Guy.
Thank you for some charming answers Richard, the true qualities of your gentle nature is shown here, so very unlike your character Sir Guy, ‘the bad boy’ we love to hate. Will be transfixed to my TV for the next series of Robin Hood and of course Spooks. Off to find some pictures of Black Leather clad Sir Guy to wile away a few hours. Buon giorno!
I adore Richards acting, can’t get enough of him. My love for the Robin Hood series is solely becaue of Guy. I hope he keeps fighting with the writers to allow himself to be redeemed somehow–It would please so many of us! I think he should do a remake of “Wuthering Heights”- he is on par with legendary actor Lawrence Olivier. Anything with great Drama & Romance, we KNOW he can deliver!
Thank you so much for the interview! You asked a lot of interesting questions! I enjoyed it immensely!
Richard, thank you so much for the tiny details you put into your work that make it so memorable to watch! The way you convey emotions and inner turmoil by the tiniest turn or nod of the head, the twitch or curl of a lip and the intense stare, that gleam in your eyes!!!
Thank you, take care and stay just as loveable as you are!
I just love the complexity of the Guy character. I agree that it’s what draws me to “Robin Hood”. Guy is truly a 3-dimensional person, which is great because most people are not purely evil!
It’s interesting that Richard commented on the fact that maybe people over-empathise with Guy because I think that it’s true. It’s like I really want him to do the right thing because I know Guy has it in him: he can be redeemed. I suppose it helps that Richard is a rather hot Guy too… so much so that I reckon it would have been difficult for Marion to choose Robin over him!
