Which is the most shocking detail of this "Ryan Seacrest: "I Was Bit by a Shark!" news brief?
a) Bad grammar (bitten, Ryan, bitten! SJP would be horrified)
b) All signs point to Ryan Seacrest probably getting his hair wet
c) Article likely originally conceived as straight-up Advil ad (Naturally, Seacrest mentioned the need for the brand-name analgesic while describing the incident on his morning radio show)
d) Bite not incurred on a Manhattan-based Shark Week buggy
(Seacrest is okay, by the way. "It was like finding a splinter!")

I think this is as good a time as any for Seacrest to start living every week as if it were Shark Week.
Oh and Annie…the answer is A. I mean, “I was BIT by a shark.” Makes him sound like a five year old.
Definitely B. No way is Seacrest intentionally messing with his well-coiffed ‘do. Also, props to Ceballos for the Tracy Jordan Shark Week reference!
Where’s Jaws when you need him?
Too bad he wasn’t seriously injured. He sucks.
E) That anyone cares.
But the poor grammar in A) is terrible too.
The most shocking thing about this story is that it implies Seacrest was doing something…recreational. Could it be that he’s not ALWAYS working?
The poor shark.
Ryan, let us know when you lose a leg or an arm, like the awesome surfer chick who lost her arm and is still surfing..(sorry, didn’t google her name)…getting bit on the foot and finding a tooth left behind HARDLY qualifies you as the next Steve Irwin…
well i dont believe it. i really think its true i mean whatever!
Who cares?…It really could only happen in America where an individual with no talent can become a household name and make big bucks…provide news that actually means something…like the cost in human lives and money in Iraq
Oh, give it a rest! If you’re so concerned with politics, what the heck are you doing spending your time reading the PopWatch blog on EW? People come to EW, they watch TV, go see movies, they listen to Seacrest, to escape from all that. Yeah, it’d be great if we all joined hands in solidarity. So where’s YOUR next protest gonna be?
He probably stepped on a dead tooth on the beach while doing a promo for E!
Yay for the Tracy Jordan reference! The MythBusters referenced him during their new Shark Week special, too. It’s a shame it wasn’t a more fearsome shark that “bit him”. I’m inclined to believe that he stepped on a tooth.
I think he was just glad he didn’t get bitten by a girl!
