Jeffrey: Unfortunately, I was a “CariD”, long before the Top Model winner was born, but your question gave me a good chuckle. As for female singers…I kind of have widely diverging tastes…in country music I like Trisha Yearwood and Nanci Griffith, in “other” music I can’t say I have a favorite but looking at the “old collection here”, I see Bette Midler, Bonnie Tyler, and Loreena McKennit. I know I’m odd. But thanks for the Kelly Clarkson recommendation, I just might have to get “Breakaway.”
To John: Gabe was not the 1st hispanic country singer. John Arthur Martinez was 2nd place to Buddy Jewel in the 1st and best Nashville Star. And to Jeff, Miranda Lambert was not the runner up, she was 3rd. It is sad to see this show starting to turn out like all the others, it was a great show in the beginning.
