Stephenie Meyer has revealed a spoiler to EW.com regarding an early plot point in Breaking Dawn, the fourth and final installment to her Twilight series. Click here to read the full article. Then discuss the spoiler after the jump…
So, Meyer tells EW’s Karen Valby that she had great fun writing Bella and Edward’s wedding scene: ”And it’s not a dream sequence! … It’s the actual wedding between Edward and Bella. The wedding!I’m a girly girl so it’s something I’ve been waiting for too.” Meyer insiststhat the wedding takes place early in the book — which, we’re sure, is the only reason she let it slip.
What do you think of the news? I’m loving it because once we get the wedding out of the way, we’ll have no idea where Meyer is headed. And that mystery is what you want from a book. (Well, that and a memorable wedding night — fingers crossed!)

Was there really any question if Bella was going to end up with Edward? Sorry “Team Jacob” but there was just no chance.

All Stephanie said was that they get married early in the book. There’s plenty that can happen after that. Though I don’t think this will happen, whose to say she won’t leave Edward for Jacob?
I’m feeling a bit weird about she reveled, she only mentions that there’s a wedding scene but not that they actually get married! Sooooo frustrating.
Yay for Team Edward! Glad the wedding is near the beginning and intrigued as to what the storyline is for the bulk of the book!
well, we already knew that, Bella is a person who follows her decision through no matter what the consequences are… and besides, the wedding dress itself was mentioned in chapter one… i dunno if its just me, but i dont think that Bella would leave Edward right before the wedding (especially after New Moon and Eclipse, ya know?) but that’s just my opinion…what happens AFTER the wedding is still a mystery to me… hmm

it was pretty obvious that they were going to get married sometime… i thought that something mightve happened and that they get married at the end of the book. acording to the quotes of the day tanya comes back and since the books from bella’s perspective she’d be there. and even thought jacob is there bella would go for edward, she loves him but more as a best friend then a soulmate, which is what edward and her are btw. anyway, maybe jacob will find love with angelia, or even tanya, but i dont think so cuz of the whole vampire/werewolf thing. hhhhmmmmmm….
I’m glad they get married early… I just hope when everything is said and done they’re still married… Sorry team Jacob I want Edward to win..

I think this spoiler is so awsome i have always been on team edwards side and i always will be this spoiler makes me want to read the book even more to see what happens on their honeymoon!!!!
All i can say is that Stephenie Meyer promised that Edward and Bella would always love and be together, So I will expect nothing less. FORGET JACOB!!!!!!!(who by the way looks like a tan chines man in the movie!!!!!) of course they get married.and im so happy about that.as much as i like jacob’s sweet, concerned heart, he isn’t Edward.there’s a HUGE difference between being in love and the love of your life (edward).i just hope she doesn’t change her mind later, because you know how persistant Jacob is.he needs to accept it and move on.like Sam said he’s not for her and Jacob should know that.again, there’s a difference in first love and eternal love.

I’m not totally surprised that she marries Edward! I’m eager to see if their wedding night goes as plans… Also if Bella cheats on Edward again as a wife(yes even if she only kisses him)i will most certainly hate her this time! I hope they’re together forever, meaning i hope she becomes a vampire!
No its not 12 yr old goth girls Im a 30 year old and I love these books!!! GO TEAM EDWARD!!! forget Jacob! Come on Bella don’t waver on us. And she better become a vampire or Im gonna be very upset!
I have to say I am pleased to know that they actually DO get married because I worried that Jacob would do something childish to ruin it or stop it all together. I still don’t think it’s over for team Jacob yet. The real challenge is if Edward will bite Bella or if Bella will change her mind and decide that she wants the whole package- family and growing old. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for Edward, but I can’t hate Jacob for loving Bella. I just hope he imprints on somone else soon- I hate to see him hurt.
Im happy that they are actually going through with marrying each other, but i remember that Bella sent Jacob a wedding invitation a while ago. so i exspected it to happen.
even though jacob will be persistent in his chase for Bella, i think i know that Bellas heart has chosen Edward forever, even though her mind might get confused.
I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope that jacob finds someone to imprint on, so then he will be able to move on, knowing that she wasnt meant for him.
(but in the back of my mind, i think he imprinted on bella, i mean he kept on saying she would have been hers if edward didnt exsist, because edward wasnt SUPPOSED to exsist. that bella would have chosen him.)
