I saw Mario Lopez on Extra yesterday for a minute (forgive me, it was a lazy Sunday). I was wondering how this happened to his career.
More importantly, Michael, are you going to either of the Idols concerts this week??
Yeah you’re right Slezak. A lot of people I know are like “Hey what happened to that Mark McGrath guy???” Which I respond with “He’s on one of those entertainment news shows…”
I’m an entertainment junkie and I did not know Mark McGrath had a show, one can only hope Mario Lopez will suffer the same fate. I hope in five years I can’t remember who he is.
Ditto, Slezak…which is sad, cuz I miss Mark McGrath. There’s no way I’m watching a show like Extra, though.
I’m hoping that Slezak is right and Mario just drops off of our radar (not that he was really on it in the first place.) I wonder if he knows how many people think that he’s slimy pond scum?
I need a whole lot less Mario Lopez in my life, not more. When I saw his nude body lying on a bear skin rug pic in the Sexiest Bachelors edition of People Magazine, I promised myself I would avoid him at all costs for the rest of my existence.
If it wasn’t for DWTS – this guy would still be hosting a dog competiion on Animal Planet.
Then – he gets away with cheating on his girlfriend recently. How did that get passed the tabloids??

Why do magazines/variety shows/tabloid shows, etc. think this guy is so popular? Sure he’s built, but he completely skeeves me out. Anyone who cheats on his wife *while on their honeymoon* needs to be avoided like the plague.
I don’t even know what time Extra! comes on, let alone what channel it comes on, so I’m all for it!
I can’t stand Mario Lopez. He cheats on every last one of his girlfriends. Not to mention, I can’t forgive him for wearing those ugly stonewashed pleated jeans when he was on SBTB. Yuck!
Hated Mario Lopez’s fake smile on DWTS. Hate the publicist who keeps putting him on the covers of magazines. Love that I have no idea when Extra is shown in my area so there’s only the most minimal of chances I’ll see him on my television screen.

First of all the only reason Mario got the job was due to the fact that Mark McGrath stepped down in order to focus on more important things: life and his music career. Mario Lopez doesn’t have any talent. If you call a winning smile and killer abs talent then you need help. He’s eye candy and that’s all. At least Mark McGrath had a degree in communications from USC. Mario Lopez was A.C. Slater on that stupid show “Saved By The Bell”. He’s just the wrong guy for the show and I hope that the producers of Extra realize it before it’s too late. Mario Lopez will be the demise of the show.
