Yes, David Boreanaz, blog for us

EW’s Whitney Pastorek sat down with David Boreanaz at Comic-Con Friday (watch Part 2 of their conversation below), and he had two great ideas for Bones‘ fourth season:

1. That Booth should injure his firing hand and have to depend on Bones to do things for him. Hilarious. Made me want to watch the Halloween episode "Mummy in the Maze" again, when she was packing as Wonder Woman.

2. That he guest blog for us throughout the season. That might help us get over Gormogongate. What do you think?

So long as it’s video blog and I can see that bad boy, I’m all for it!

  • Em

    I vote for #2 also.

  • TMB

    that would be awesome!

  • rebecca

YES. David Boreanaz as a guest blogger = amazing. Please do it!

  • MSF

    Yes, please!

  • Elizabeth

    A) Mandi – you let Whitney spend time with your boy?
    B) Mandi will be typing as David dictates his blog, correct?
    Thanks – I heart him!

  • Steph

Mandi – the real question here is: Whose a*s*s do we have to kick for giving this one-on-one time to Whitney and not you!?!? Not that I don’t love Whitney, I do, but a personal interview with Boreanaz is your Everest!

  • Mandi Bierly

Ah, I appreciate you having my back, ladies, but the universe is as it should be.*

David Boreanaz blog, heck yeah, with photos, heck yeah. He is just so funny and adorable, anything he’d write would be awesome.

  • Anonymous

amazing! please make a booth blog happen.

  • Crystal

The only thing that will make me get over Gormogongate is if David’s first blog was admitting what a complete and total crap move that was. Yeah, I’m still annoyed.

  • Jessica

Yes, yes, yes! For all the viewers that love Booth, David is very much like his character. Charming, witty, intelligent, kind-how could we not benefit from his written (typed) word? As soon as I saw that video the other day I had visions of awesome dancing in my head:)
I also love his story idea. I always love it when Booth and Bones show compassion for one another and it’s all the greater when one needs the other. That’s why they have such a great partnership-they balance each other perfectly. Kudos, David!

  • LizetM

    YES for both ideas! :D

  • ceecee

DEFINITELY!! He did one during the NHL playoff run for the Flyers and it was faaaaantastic! (And i don’t even like the flyers!)

  • Ardleighstreet

AWESOME! Do it already! His NHL one rocked!I’d read anything he wanted to write. I wish he’d done it last season because I still don’t understand how Zack could be the guilty one.

  • film4future

You know, I’ve never really watched Bones, but after watching hilarious video of David Boreanaz during the Comic Con Bones panel, I might have to start. He should be doing big screen comedies! YES to him blogging!

  • BJohnson

Yeah he needs to guest blog.
You know he was cute in Buffy and Angel but OMG he is just aged so well and looks so fine. I will read anything he writes. Can’t wait for the new season!

  • Laura

I’ll start reading his blogs if he admits to what a crappy plot Pain in the Heart had.
    Zack needs his justice.
They pretty much dragged that character through the mud.
Big mistake doing that to Zack.

  • Joy

A blog written by David? That is the best news to come out of ComicCon by far! Please make sure it happens. The site will probably crash, but that’s ok; your tech guys can fix it.
I agree that he should be a movie star. He does indeed belong in the “I am aging very well” category, like Tom Selleck and Mark Harmon. His smile is wonderful.
He seems like such a nice guy that it’s a testament to his acting chops that he was so scary as Angelus. BTW, some people like me are fans of both worlds: Angel/Buffy and Bones.
    Great interview, Whitney. You rock!

  • Esther Kustanowitz

Sigh. David’s the rare blend: classically chiseled good looks and a remarkable and sparkling sense of humor. It’s actually not fair–it breeds unrealistic expectations for those of us who are looking for someone amazing.
    Long live Captain Forehead!!

  • Strepsi

    1) Whitney you rock as an interviewer
    2) I wish he WOULD injure his hand, there’s a few things I could help him with…… ;)

  • jen

wow that would be awesome, he is so hot and i agree with everyone who said he has aged well. it isn’t that he’s old, he just keeps looking better and better.

  • DP

David Boreanaz + guest blog = best thing ever!
I loved his blog on Fox, but it was so infrequent. Hopefully it’ll be a little more regular. *hint**hint*
