I LOVE this column! I think you should do a column on Burn Gorman (who was mentioned this week in relation to Richard Armitage). I think he is a great actor (if anyone has seen the second season finale of Torchwood, you know what I’m talking about) and extremely attractive.
Is Richard going to be comming to the USA to be making any movies or T.V. appearances? I love North and South, Sparkhouse and Robin Hood and can’t wait for MI-5 to start..Keep up the good work.
Glad to see there’s some Richard Armitage love on the PopWatch Blog.
For the Q&A, would Richard be willing to give a hint to what Gisborne is up to in Season 3 of Robin Hood?
I agree Sparkhouse should be further up the list it really is brilliant, it reminds me of the ugly duckling that becomes a swan!
Question: How hard is it to be away from home for months on end or do you manage to get frequent breaks to pop back?
Thank you so much for devoting this post to Richard Armitage (and for letting us know that “Sparkhouse” is up on YouTube). Basically, just thank you in general for this recurring entry on PopWatch. I look forward to it every week. Another thing I would love to know – when do the season 4 DVDs of “Doctor Who” come out in the states?
Question to ask Richard: Is there a character in literature you’d love to one day play in an adaptation?
I cannot understand why it has taken so long for this talented actor to get the recognition he deserves in America!!! It just goes to show you that politics exist in acting as in any other profession!! For producers and directors out there, HIRE this man!!!
Thanks for drawing the attention of so many readers to the talents of an actor who is still relatively unknown outside the UK. I would like to know where he sees his future. He is still in RH and has just joined the cast of another excellent series. But does he think of moving away from TV? Would he like to do movies or try directing or producing?
Thank you for this spotlight on Richard. You’ve compiled an excellent list of his works. So far his talent has largely been overlooked in the US, but hopefully that will soon change. Could I make a request for an audio clip of your phone interview to be posted? He has such a wonderful voice…
My question for Richard: Last year you mentioned you’d like to return to the stage. Do you have any plans for theatre work once filming for Robin Hood has finished? Or will you be focusing on breaking into American entertainment?
Thanks EW for putting this up! I’ve been waiting all month for this!
To Richard, I want to compliment him on his amazing talent. He’s always a delight to watch and it’s easy to forget that I’m nearly twenty years younger with how great he looks. Keep up the fantastic work! <3
I would like to tell Richard that he actually made me want Marian to choose Guy over Robin because he seemed so conflicted and really truly loved her. He put a real essence into his portrayal of Guy. I would like to know if Richard prefers his hair short or long? And when is he coming to conquer America?
A question for richard..do u like to travel, wats the most exciting place u have ever been to?
Thanks so much for doing this. Richard is a wonderfull actor and glad he is being reconized.
My question is what is his fav singer or group.
I hope also that we can get a vedio or clip of this

Thank you for the article on the very talented Richard Armitage.
Have to disagree with your ranking of his work, Sparkhouse should definitely be in the top three and George Gently deserves more than an Honourable Mention.
My question for Richard is: “Of all the roles you have played which one has given you the most personal satisfaction as an actor?”
I must say that it has probably been 20 years since an actor has caught my attention the way Richard has! What a talented, gorgeous man! And yet he seems so humble and unaffected by his popularity–such a nice guy. Richard, your U.S. fans love you!
