Reminder: 'Mad Men' premiere is Sunday!

Categories: Television

If you really need convincing to watch season 2 of Mad Men — aside from the show’s 16 Emmy nominations and Gillian Flynn’s glowing review, look no further than Don Draper’s pitch for the Kodak Carousel, because it practically doubles as a pitch for the series. "Nostalgia: It’s delicate, but potent."

Come on, you have cable. Break out the chip ‘n’ dip and tune in, Sunday night at 10/9c on AMC. And if you didn’t tune in during season one, fret not: Read EW.com’s Mad Men Cheat Sheet! Handy!

My Friday is incomplete without my weekly Firefly Fix. What gives? Please tell me the overbaked comic-con coverage has usurped my Firefly hook-up! C’mon! I havea serious jones goin on here!

Wow, I literally just finished watching the Season One finale before reading this blog post. After hearing all the great things about the show, I have been watching the first season on OnDemand HD over the past month, and I seriously just finished. I’m psyched for the premiere on Sunday, but I am disappointed that I don’t have AMC in HD and I won’t have any way of skipping over the commercials ‘cuz I still don’t have a DVR. (What?)

I finally gave in to all the hype and watched last Sunday’s marathon of Season 1 and got totally hooked. Everything from the acting, writing to the visual aspects of the 1960s is first class all the way. Can’t wait for Sunday!

This one scene is why Jon Hamm deserved the GG and got the Emmy nod. Killer. I’ve been watching since the premiere last summer and I am ready! Bring it on Weiner!

This really is a good show and if The Sopranos passed the torch to any show, its this one. I hope they win many emmys.

I just finished Season One this past Thursday night and all I can say is “Wow”. What a great series. I can not wait for Sunday night. Jon Hamm gives an incredible performance as Don Drapper so don’t be surprised when his name is announced as Best Actor in a Drama, come Emmy night! But why no Emmy love for the ladies? January Jones is perfect as well as the ladies that play Peggy and Joan!
