The latest in the esteemed Jim Carrey Ultimate Behavior Modification series (see: The Truman Show, Me, Myself & Irene, Bruce Almighty) reminds me a LOT of Liar Liar. Instead of never lying, he’s just not saying "no." Groundbreaking stuff. Bonus points go to Red Bull for attempting to mask a blatant commercial for Red Bull in the cloud of cuteness that is Zooey Deschanel. I do have to admit — I’m always amused at how the general populations in Jim Carrey movies tend to be not only a lot friendlier than in reality, but really into interacting with Jim Carrey’s doofus characters. Unrealistic social landscapes in Jim Carrey movies: Endearing or tired out? The babies at the beginning of this trailer would simply answer "No." But, they’re babies.

I strangely think that looks pretty amusing, as opposed to some of Jim Carrey’s most recent fare. It’s not as if he is not capable of saying anything but yes or no, like in Liar, Liar, but he just opens himself up to new experiences. Could be entertaining. The supporting cast looks great.
Maybe I’m in a strange frame of mind today, but I actually laughed at that trailer and I can’t remember the last time I even giggled at a Jim Carrey movie clip. I don’t think we’re tired of plots like this, just tired of his over-the-top antics. He can still be genius when he tones it down.
YES! YES! YES this does look like CRAP, and YES, I am going to miss it.
It’s Murray!! YAY MURRAY!!!
RHYS DARBY!!! I’ll see it for him alone… Gosh I miss Flight of the Conchords
MURRAY!!!
Not a chance. Carrey lost his knack for funny too many years ago for this work. Boy I miss the Funny Carrey.
Don’t worry Krikky, the new season, according to Bret and Jemaine, is being filmed later this year.
Oh and this movie looks at least amusing. More than I could say for some of the other films being released this year. A Jim Carrey movie is safe…I like safe things.
I’ve never liked Jim Carrey movies. This doesn’t look like it will change my mind. I do love Zooey Deschanel, though.
So, Jim Carrey is, what, twenty years older than Zooey D? If their genders were reversed, the movie’s plot would be all about how weird it is. But since the female is the young one, it’s just business as usual. Remember when he was Laura Linney’s age?
is that little suri cruise in the opening of the trailer? the little girl with the paint brush?
I laughed at a couple of the jokes! I’m surprised because I haven’t found Jim Carrey funny in years. I might go see this one.
The book this is based on is fantastic! Yesman by Danny Wallace and has nothing to do with this movie! I think i’m going to spend my time re-reading the book then seeing this…
I too will say NO to this movie and reread Danny Wallace’s hilarious book instead.
I do not find Jim Carey amusing at all.
In my head, these seemed like a much funnier idea. Watching the trailer, it looks pretty bland.
