I have watched "Mamma Mia" twice and it's been such a long time (or never happened actually) since I crave to see a film for the third time. Why many are making such a big thing in trying to seek perfection in the singing and dancing. This is no music examination but a very entertaining film. All the actors/actresses were terrific in bringing such a spirit into this movie and most of all Pierce and Merilyn whom I never saw them acting this kind of style but matched so perfectly and I adored them so much more! This movie is just FANTASTIC!

I have all the Abba records, i went to see them in the late seventies, i went to see Mamma mia three times, and i have seen the movie three times and i have the CD, at least, when i can steal it off my daughter.
... and when i listen to the CD, it is Pierce Brosnan's songs which i like to listen to the most, and that is coming from a 48 year old male who has no interest in Pierce as 'eye candy'.
I like the way his voice and delivery come across, and this is from an Abba expert, so lay off him!!

TRUE..! This is a MOVIE people, its fiction and you are meant to use your IMAGINATION...lol... so what if they are older and "the age doesnt fit" or they only "tried to sing" it was two hours that I was spirited away to a Greek Island where a fairy tale unfolded using beloved ABBA music to tell the story. The whole Cinema this morning applauded and didnt leave their seats untill the last credit rolled. It was fabulous, fun and flirty, well done to all involved..! Mama Mia is a musical to rival Grease (think about the "ages" & "singing" in that people, 30yr olds playing teenagers and do we still love it YES..!) as the best Musical of its decade. CD/DVD store here I come..!

Made you proud to be a Swede. Glorious photography, natural lighting and the music made your heart sing. It was like a delicious modern day operetta. Let's see more of this from Hollywood.

Lets face it, you had to be there in the Seventies, and we were to enjoy this film. Its no good getting anyone under 40 to give an opinion as they wont have a true understanding or appreciantion of the Film. Saw the Stage show in the West End but the Film left that for dead. You can pick at it all you like but I bet that this is still around and popular in 20 years time. Yes, the Audience clapped at the end and some sang along.First rate.

I went to watch it with my daughter tonight and I was in tears when she sang that song while helping her daughter get ready for her big day (don't remember the name of it). Makes you think that one day your kids will be married and have a family of there own. I really enjoyed it, the cast was awesome! I would watch it again and definatly purchase the sound track.
