'Greatest American Dog' recap: Not entirely unwatchable

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy this week’s episode. There. Read the full post.

Elan should not be allowed to own a dog, or a plant for that matter. She is an awful, mean spirited person who borders on cruel to her dog. I also misted up when Star was injured. She is a beautiful, sweet-natured dog, and Bill is so good with her. It reminded me of when my Dachshund Dinky, was ill 3 years ago (sadly, he didn’t make it). As for Travis and Laura, I think they would be too darn cute together. She is very good with her little Pom and his Presley is a great dog.

My German Shepherd pup enjoys this show almost as much as we do, and could probably get pretty far in the competition at 7 months. :) We’ve yet to teach her the fancies such as “right” and “left” shake and spin, but she’s got sit, down, stay, and come down very well (especially if you have any sort of frisbee in your hand). :)

I will never watch this show again. Tillman added so much comic relief to a show that otherwise dotes on airheads like Beth Joy and Brandy. What a shame that the judges were so prejudiced to pick drama queens over pure unadadulterated bulldog character. My two American Bulldogs and I will be doing anything on Wednesday nights other than watching this show. What a disappointment. We love you, Tillman! Go Bill and Star!

Sorry ladies, seems like Laura & Travis are taking their showmance off screen…
