The trailer for High School Musical 3: Senior Year hit the web today, and dear lord if I didn’t squeal like a little girl at a Jonas Brothers concert. Or maybe just like a Jonas brother. I’ll tell you exactly the moment the hairs on my arm stood on end: when gorgeous Gabriella stood up in the stands inside the Wildcats gym, time stopping and spotlight illuminating her white dress to megawatt angelic radiance, and sang to her sweetie Troy, anime manboy incarnate (he so could have been Speed Racer), working so very, very hard on the basketball court — and he sang back!
TROY: "Right now I can hardly breath!"
GABRIELLA: "I know you can do it just know that I believe!"

I’m telling you: it’s gonna be the tweenybopper Harry Potter 7! A whole cultural phenomenon comes to a glorious, hyperpoppy climax on Oct 24. I am weeping! I am hysterical! I’ll put it to you this way–when I went to Sex and the City, there was a stand-up cardboard cutout of HSM3’s main characters. Were it not for my friends and the plethora of other twentysomething girls, I totally would have made someone take my picture with it.

I am so there–the sadder part is that I am completely unrepentant about being late twenty-something who loves HSM –my friends however are completely embarrassed just by association.

Doc Jensen, I totally love that you like High School Musical. Makes me less ashamed of my own love for it. And yes, I am TOTALLY seeing this in theatres the second it comes out!

It does look AWESOME. And I will be there, helping/watching how much cash Disney is going to make off this. It is going to be HUGE. I don’t even like the players in HSM outside of the franchise….a real testament to the strength of the production team, here.
So….When they are done with this series can they please give the good HSM writers, etc. to Joe Jonas projects, as he really deserves them?

i love HSM last year i went to the ice tour of HSM1 and HSM2!i reccomend it to all HSM fans but the drinks and stuff are really dear..especially the tops:P

i thought i was the only non teeny bopper that likes this movie. i was 27 when HSM2 came out. and i tivo’ed it. so yeah i will be going to see it. now if i can only convince someone to go with me

I’m a mom and scarily excited for the movie (especially after Camp Rock — come on, it was BAD; if not for the Jonas Brothers pulling it along it would have flopped with kids and tweens) however, I’m very annoyed that it is a “big screen” event. I liked that For HSM1 and 2 everyone was on an even playing field seeing it on the Disney Channel at home. Now I have to buy tix on line, most likely snacks and pay for gas to get to the theatre. Yeah, kids, things cost money — that’s a $100 evening for a family of 4 right there. And how will you all survive not being able to tape or DVR it so you can watch it over and over and over? I know my daughters may self destruct — good thing Christmas is riiiight around the corner! Kudos on planning, Disney! And a HSM4? Uh, nope — they’ve graduated, hence the end of High School. Plus, the cast have to move on in their careers. I’ll see Zac, Vanessa and the HSM gang in the fall and then OUT of East High.
hsm3 will be wicked and the monment with zac and vanessa is so romantic
